I am honored to request a Sapphire Blade for SBM Aabsdu for his outstanding activity and contributions to Clan Plagueis. Aabsdu's activity and participation in the DB has been wide ranging going from a member of the GMRG as a CRU to serving in the PA as a ORCL to participating in the ACC as a CL3. On top of this he has served in consecutive escalating positions of responsibility in Clan Plagueis going from Aedile of HEK to QUA of HEK and now finally as PCON of Clan Plagueis. Aabsdu's ranked in as the third overall scorer for Plagueis in the GJW despite holding a leadership position in the Clan and working on multiple projects. His most recent projects have included the restructuring of the Plagueis Battle Teams and the Creation of a Plagueis Battle Team Document. In addition to recreating the Battle Teams Aabsdu oversaw the creation of a standardized award system and a Clan Calendar on the Plagueis Website. Aabs has had his hand in over 10 projects in the last month competely helping restructure Plagueis Policy. In addition to this, his personal activity has been unbelievable. Another session of activity review is over and once more Melkor excelled. His performance during the last half of this war was once more a beacon and inspiration for many and this coupled with his excellent attitude and statesmanship make him a person most worthy of this award. Three months ago I appointed KP Orzon as Envoy of Clan Plagueis. Since that time Orzon has completely energized the Clan Plagueis Envoy System and the Master/Student Program in Plagueis. <br> <br> Orzon sends letters to each and every apprentice upon their arrival in Clan Plagueis. He continues to send these new members letters with guidance on how to gain promotions until they reach Dark Jedi Knight. During this time he also assigns and appoints masters for those PRT+ who desire a master.<br> <br> Orzon has rewritten the Plagueis Master/Student Program, the Plagueis Promotion Guidelines, The Plagueis Envoy system, and the Plagueis DJK+ promotion guideline. His hard work and dedication has paid enormous dividends for Clan Plagueis and the Dark Brotherhood as a whole. <br> <br> In the last Envoy evaluation Clan Plagueis finished first in new member efficiency when guiding members to the Rank of PRT. Not only did the Plagueis new member numbers finish first, but they doubled several other clans percentages. Plagueis owes this success to the dedication and hard work of Orzon.<br> <br> Orzon continues to push his Envoys harder and harder to make sure Clan Plagueis has an indoctrination system like no other in the Brotherhood, his efforts thus far have proven him to be successful. After consideration of the past record of this member, the following medal has been approved as recommended:<br> <br> The Codex of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood clearly states that the Sapphire Blade is awarded for: “Consistent service to one's Clan or Order which does not render recognition until seen as a whole. It is often awarded as a medal for multiple services over a long period of time.” Over the period of the last couple years, Sith Battlelord Vally Tamalar has been in and out of service to Clan Scholae Palatinae, starting as a Tetrarch, moving on Quaestor of House Acclivis Draco and later House Dorimad Sol, and eventually becoming Consul of the Clan. During these times he has been a great motivator, a great help, and a great source of guidance to the Clan. He always led by example and a quick look of his History Outline will solidify that statement.<br> <br> It is my opinion that Clan Scholae Palatinae has never appropriately thanked Vally for all that he has done for us. He was a true leader when leadership was what the Clan needed most, and his efforts are still talked about to this day. He pushed us to be better than we thought we were, and rewarded us in kind for our efforts. He showed us what pride in the Clan was about, and taught us what a strong family could look like and do for a House/Clan. We are eternally grateful for his dedication and loyalty, and it is high time that we show him. I recommend that Vally is awarded with the Sapphire Blade for consistent service to Clan Scholae Palatinae which have drove us on and inspired more of us to be better Leaders. People said great things about Sarin when he first came to the DB. They told me about his work ethic and his initiative; I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Since then, Sarin has earned my trust and respect. He is a daring leader who understands exactly what needs to be accomplished and how to accomplish it. He has energy and focus, the type that trickles down to the membership and excites them about being a member of his clan.<br> <br> Sarin has stepped up to the plate to help with many projects. I welcomed his help in reforming Clan Plagueis with Kir. The two of them have done an outstanding job in leading the membership toward the development of a solid and independent Clan. Since then, Sarin has stepped in to help with building evaluation forms, commented on many needed projects, taken up the design of the Antei system and most recently taken the lead in building the Brotherhood Wikipedia. What can I say, Braecen Isradia Kunar is by far the most active member of any club I have ever been a part of. Braecen's motor runs at a level that others only dream of. I always worry that he will burn out, but amazingly he just continues to drive on being more and more active.

Over the past several months Braecen has served as PCON of Plagueis, QUA of House Exar Kun, AED of House Exar Kun, and Envoy of Exar Kun. During this time he has coordinated or led projects that have improved Clan Plagueis beyond imagination. These projects included the Creation of the Clan Plagueis Planetary System. This document is a massive description totaling 44 pages of 11 font times new roman type. Braecen coordinated this effort with a group of writers with the goal of creating a Clan System that was more detailed and longer than the rest of the Dark Brotherhood combined. His mission was accomplished!

On top of Braecen's planetary system opus, he has created the Clan Plagueis DJK+ promotion guideline, contributed to the Clan Fleet, Contributed to the Clan Possessions, authored the Prodigy of Plagueis document, co-authored the Clan History, and contributed to the Clan family name ceremony.

Braecen has also taken on the task of serving as the Plagueis Chronicle Editor. The Plagueis Chronicle is Clan Plagueis monthly newspaper that includes articles created from members all over the Dark Brotherhood. This very popular and detailed newspaper has been a source of activity and pride for the Clan for the past several months.

As I stated in the beginning, What can I say about Braecen Isradia Kunar....he is the most active member I have ever met and he is well deserving of this award! Congrats Braecen!

At the very end of October, 2005, Strategos Thanatos Entar Arconae has shown the commitment and effort that few members of either the Clan or the Dark Brotherhood can match. The job of a Proconsul can be a thankless one, the “glory” as it were going mainly to the Consul of a Clan. Strategos has now been the PCON to two Consuls, and has maintained the same drive and dedication throughout.

For a time Arcona was not in the best of shape, a massive re-building needing to take place. During this time, Consul Denath had to go on an extended LoA due to some RL issues. As such, Strategos was named acting-Consul, and during that brief “reign”, he led Arcona and provided both guidance and leadership, keeping the houses in line, ensuring the House Summit were active, or removing them if necessary and replacing them with leaders who would continue on the work that was needed. It was he who began to re-shape the Clan, so that the foundation was already in place when a new Consul would come in. He was the one who created and ran the Clan-wide competitions while the Consul was on leave. He would be the one on IRC or through e-mail who would help smother and flames of dissent that may arise. During this period of time, I was named an advisor through more “unofficial” means, to help Strategos should it be needed. However, he was clearly the leader of the Clan for that time, as well as for much of the period after, his face becoming the “face” of the Clan.

As I ascended to become Consul, Strategos remained on as Proconsul. Since I’ve been Consul, his work has been exemplary. I use my PCONs as close advisor’s, bouncing ideas and programs off them. He has seen to offer all the advice he could, bring his experience to bare. He has watched out over the Clan, guiding me and advising me on competitions, awarding and the direction the Clan should take. During my own sudden LoA, Strategos was once again thrust into the role of acting-CON, and was once again successful. Arcona is a clan that has always had personalities that clashed. During this time, Strategos was alone, having to deal with these personalities and successful eased any tensions that they had been causing. He is respected and listened to by the Clan at large, his words carrying weight behind them. One could not ask for more in a PCON.

However, Strategos has also continued to be an active member of the DB during his time as PCON, continuing to participate in the various MP gaming nights (earning dozens of CFs); constant IRC presence and continually posts and keeps up on the forums. He is also the Clan Envoy for Arcona, and has ensured that our newest members are taken care of, our current crop of Envoys doing a fantastic job.

Overall, Strategos has done everything asked of him and more, his work dedicated to helping Arcona. For all that he has done, this reward is but a token of thanks

With this particular recommendation, one that I take a great deal of pleasure in writing, it is hard to know where to start. But, I will do my best. I have always said that it is never easy on my assistants, as I do a lot of work myself. But Welshman has stepped up the plate and worked hard no matter what, and he has been a great asset to his clan, and a great assistant.

I got to know Welshman back when Tarentum switched to the multi-order system and he became my Aedile. He and I got along very well, and he took on his share of the burden of running the new house Gladius. He helped keep the house active, filled in for me when I was on leave, and he became a valuable, and virtually indispensable, advisor and friend. When I stepped down from Quaestor, and then moved up to PCON, I knew that the house was in good hands.

Welshman proved himself a competent and excellent Quaestor. He continued what I had put in place, but he added his own touches to it, improving where he could. He ran competitions and helped design clan competitions. Welshman remained an advisor to me and a friend as well. When I moved up to Consul, there was little doubt that Welshman would be my Proconsul. His Aedile, whom Welshman had selected and helped train for the job, is still the Quaestor of Gladius to this day, thus showing how good of a job he did in doing in preparing and training the next leader.

As Proconsul, Welshman has become my go to guy in the clan. Award recommendations, commenting on the status of the clan as a whole and individual members, and helping me select leaders and plan competitions are just a good summary of what he has done. Welshman also took over running the master-student program as proconsul, keeping records of the master-student pairings and working to match people up. Welshman has also been charged with ensuring that all Trials for Knighthood operate well and he has also done this.

Welshman is a friendly, helpful, and active member of this clan. He constantly leads in word and deed. I have seen Welshman grow into his role in the clan, one that he has accepted and taken to heart.

When I was looking at his dossier, I was surprised that this had not been awarded a long time ago. It should be noted that Welshman was given the name Tarentae some time ago, a sign of true dedication to the clan. In short, this entire thing can be summed up that Welshman has shown long term dedication and service to the clan. Welshman has performed multiple services for this clan, in a variety of positions, over a long period of time. It is with great pleasure that I present him with this Sapphire Blade. ~Anshar
