Event History

Following recommendation from the meeting of the Inner Circle for the Conclave of the month of July 2005 we would like to request the presentation of the Sapphire Blade to Krath Archpriest Manji Nekura Keibatsu.

This recommendation comes in light of many things, not least Manji’s service as Quaestor, and earlier Aedile, of House Marka Ragnos. His services have not only caught the eye of members within the Clan but also outside. His work as an Operator for the Antei Combat Center is easily recognisable by most.

His services have not gone unnoticed by the Obelisk High Commander who also adds the following recommendation:

When I left CNS for the Dark Council, I knew CNS would do well with the new leadership. And he proved me right. Under his leadership, the house became one of the most active in the DB. New active battleteams have formed, and many good things have come from the house. For all his work, I think he deserves this reward. Manji currently runs one of the most successful Houses in the Dark Brotherhood, one which continues to grow, fosters new members with ease, and is seeing many of the rising stars emerge from its folds. Nearly all the big names of Clan Naga Sadow who continue to have their names in lights are members of the House that Manji runs tremendously. This is especially noticeable given the extended period of absence of his Aedile, leaving him to have had to lead his House almost independently since being appointed Quaestor.

His work since I came to the position of Consul have been impossible to ignore and it is for that that I, with the support of the Inner Circle, request he be presented with an award of that calibre to signify this fact. We therefore wish to present Manji with the Sapphire Blade.

Though recently promoted, Korras has served his clan well. He has stepped up to the plate and taken on more than just the duties of PCON, he has been the acting CON while CNS's Consul was ill and has continually been in service to the DB, whether as PCON or as Praetor to the Lord Marshal or Commander of the Guard. Korras puts more energy into his duties that I have seen in a member in a long time. I am honored to award him this medal, a Sapphire Blade.

I have been truly impressed by the performance of Selket in CSK. She has done a tremendous job as Consul. She is always on time with her weekly updates, is quick to do anything I ask of her, and drops by to see how I'm doing occasionally. She has been exceptionally good in her first months as Consul, and I am glad to have her around.

I hereby award Selket a Sapphire Blade. Congrats!

There are always people in a clan who motivate others just by being there. Tissaya is one of those. She’s always willing to help out with almost anything, and manages to improve the atmosphere by doing just that.

During the GJW, she was one of the most active in CNS, and before she retired, she was an excellent PCON. For all that, I think she deserves this.

Tissaya has been, first my Magistrate, and then my Praetor, for.... actually, I can’t remember how long, but it has been a very long time :P She is one of those rare people who not only volunteer to help with whatever needs doing, but also keeps coming up with her own suggestions for new things to do. I don’t think she has ever declined to do anything that I asked of her, regardless of her other commitments – be she PCON or TET.

In the past, I’ve awarded her medals for helping on specific projects, e.g. the MML, and for periods of service to the office of the KHP, but it’s definitely past time that she was rewarded for her service to the Brotherhood as a whole. Tiss is one of those rare people for whom I have no hesitation at all in recommending as weighty a reward as a Sapphire Blade. She has been the best M/P I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t change her for anything ;o)

Tissaya has been an outstanding Eclectic Pedagogue. She grades more Shadow Academy Exams then anyone and has done so for well over a year. If I had to pick someone to point to and say this person is what an Eclectic Pedagogue should be it is Tissaya. She has put in a lot of time and energy into the Shadow Academy; her work is deeply appreciated by everyone at the SA. If anyone in the DB has earned a reward it is Tissaya. The entire Shadow Academy Staff is grateful for the work she has done.

I'd like to award Tiss with a Sapphire Blade because of all the great work she has done for her clan, first as Aedile of Marka Ragnos, then as Proconsul and now as a Tetrarch. She has always made sure people were active. And she was a great help to me when she served as Proconsul, where she amongst other things always made sure I did what I had to do when I forgot about it.

Vassan Rokir has been one of the biggest - if not the biggest - helps I've had within Clan Arcona. From the time he returned to active duty, he's taken numerous tasks onto himself to aid House Qel-Droma and Arcona as a whole. Not only has he almost single-handedly written and designed Arcona's clan facilities, but he has created the new and updated Arcona Clan Powers and Abyssal Rites as well. Add to that that he's played a key role during the past two chapters of this GJW, once again showing his great dedication and loyalty to Clan Arcona. Therefore, I, James Lucius Entar, Consul of Arcona, with the agreement of Oracle Shan Long, recommend Vassan Rokir for the Sapphire Blade.

From the Dark Council: Rakhai(Numaril) has done an excellent job as CSP Consul during his tenure, revitalizing the Clan and setting the base for an active future. With Rakhai's guidance, the Clan has entered into a new era of activity, with new and old members actively participating in DB competitions. Despite being a small Clan, CSP has made a good showing in the last few DB competitions

From CON Vail: I would hereby wish to recommend SWL Numaril Asfågeln for Sapphire Blade for his service to Clan Scholae Palatinae.

Rakhai came to the Clan when he was most needed. His dedication, enthusiasm and sheer amount of will and effort that he put in the Clan in its most desperate hour, first as Quaestor of House Acclivis Draco, and then as Consul of Clan Scholae Palatinae, helped Clan not only survive through difficult times, but form a healthy basis upon which to develop. He succeeded in forming a team of highly qualified and motivated people who ran the units of the Clan and formed a membership basis upon which Clan will further develop.

In many ways Numaril Asfågeln has built the foundation of modern Clan Scholae Palatinae, something the rest of us must not fail. That's why this recommendation is not from me, but from the entire membership of Clan Scholae Palatinae, as our thanks to Rakhai for being a great Conboss. Thanks again man! I've contemplated a suitable reward for Rekio over the last few days, and I feel I have finally come to the proper conclusion. I've spoken with a number of my Summits on this, and I believe there is no one in Tarentum who would object tot his.

Rekio is always an example of activity, and dedication to the Clan. He is truly my right hand; I doubt that Tarentum would be as great as it is without his assistance, and his great leadership. Rekio helped lead the way in the Sith War, much as he did in the last Sith War. He continues to strive for personal bests, but also sees the value in spending more effort to see others shine, as well.

I honestly believe that as we progress farther together, as a Clan Summit, as friends, and together with the Clan, Rekio will truly succeed me as Consul, and will likely be the best leader this Clan has seen in a long time, if not the best, indeed. His continued service in his duties, including those new responsibilities with the grant and title projects within Tarentum, is always pushing the standards for us all, and I appreciate all he does.
