Event History

Pyro has been an upstanding character since I met him. His dedication to everything he does is tremendous, and the products of his efforts are remarkable. The activity, loyalty, and hours put down by him towards each objective is beyond compare. For the Shadow Academy, Pyralis has been instrumental in every project to date. He has assisted me in laying the groundwork for a new and better Academy, and then followed through on that with countless hours of work. Corrections to courses, new materials, new Sith battles for XvT and XWA, and the neverending reams of feedback and general assistance have been unbelievable. I cannot allow these splendid works and incomprehendable effort to slide by without an equally splendid form of recognition. For being a key to the growth and development of the Shadow Academy, and a character of true quality, I hereby recommend Pyralis for a Sapphire Blade

Pyralis is quite possibly the best leader I have ever had the pleasure of serving with. Ever since I joined House Galthain he has been a friend, leader, advisor, and example to follow. He has always kept communications high by sending out countless emails, keeping the Sith in the house informed about all upcoming events and simply staying in touch with all of the active house members. He is also constantly on IRC, chatting and communicating with the rest of Clan Satal Keto.

His high level of activity is also unparalleled. During my duration as Quaestor, he sent me at least 4 pilot files each week, in addition to whatever pilot files or pieces of activity were required for the competitions going on in the squadron. In addition, he always pushed each member of the house to do their absolute best and encouraged them to at least participate in whatever event was going on. This relentless determination of his to get every member of the house to participate and work together as a team was probably what got the extremely high participation rate in the GJW and it will continue to serve him well.

While serving as Aedile of House Galthain, Pyralis never failed to impress me. In addition to the things that I have already mentioned, I think that the reason he and I worked so well together was at least partially due to his great leadership skills and people skills. He leads by example and holds himself to a high level of standards that you will probably not find in too many other places. He also was constantly seeking input from me and the other House members as to how he was performing and encouraged us to question his ideas and tell us if we thought he was making a mistake or needed to make a correction to something.

I could probably go on about even more of his accomplishments, but I think that you get the picture. Pyralis is one of the best leaders I've ever come across, hands down, no question about it. He deserves to be rewarded for his outstanding work. Thank you for your time, Masters. Also, if there's someone else I should send this email to, please let me know.

I personally would like to Award Pyralis the SB for all the amazing work he has done so far for his house. He has made a house the leader in participation among all houses of the DB, he has been an exceptional aid to his Consul, consulting on a wide range of issues . He's motivating character is .. well... infectious among all who talk to him! :P The energy is simply astounding. Without doubt he is the best Galthain Queastor ever and more then worthy of this award!!

I have here a REC from Alanna of House Ekky- She feels that former QUA Betja Jun deserves a Medal. I also Agree totally. So i will paste her REC and then add comments of my own at the end. Thank you.

Clan leaders,

You may already have this in hand, but if not, I'd like to recommend Betja for either a Grand Cross of the Dark Side, or a Sapphire Blade (I'm not sure which is more appropriate).

Betja took over running Ektrosis after a couple of less active QUAs had sent us into a bit of an activity lull. His enthusiasm and encouragement brought us out of it and we have (I believe, although I haven't checked) won every major competition we've entered since he took over. He also helped to write and run an inter-clan feud (which we subsequently won of course :P) and host more run-ons and small competitions than I can remember. He's been an active IRC presence, has outlasted a couple of PCONs and CONs (always the mark of a good QUA!), and is only leaving now because real life pressures no longer leave him the time required to hold the post well.

It would be nice to thank him for all he's done for Ektrosis over the last year or more.

I can also say that Betja before RL grabbed him from his duties as QUA was a lead by example. Meaning he set the example in what an active member having fun should be. He was always on time with his reports, spent a gross amount of time on IRC chatting with his members and many more besides. He as Alanna stated lasted thru two or more CON's and PCON's.

For his dedication and loyalty to the Clan His house and the DB at large i would like to Award him the Sapphire Blade.

Gord has been once again an exceptional PCON. Not only covering for his Consul in his absence, but designing and administrating a Clan fued. Always there to help members, solving summit problems and house matters, there's nothing this guy couldn't handle! For his efforts beyond the call of duty, as well as his continuing excellent PCON duties he still performs I wish to award him a SB!

Saitou is one of the major cogs in CSP.As PCOn I know that if I give him a job he will do it as quickly as possible and to the best of his abilities, and he has done this throughhout his full reign as PCON. Though recently events meant that I was unavailable to be online as much as I like and stepped up his pace to run, and lead CSP to a victory in, a Clan Feud against CSK.

His actions over the last few months has made him poplar all across the Clan, and he is much more than a PCON. This is the only award I have given him since he took his post, as I believe in larger awards being more accessible to the general membership, and this is one of those occasions where this award is truly deserved.

<b>As recommended by SWL Tron Sadow</b>: To my knowledge he has been an active participant in the Krath Monthly Topic setting an example for the entire house as well as encouraging them to participate, he has held a series of regular Run-on competitions by which he measures the house members progression. Their are also fiction competitions which are based on set topics and he grades them. These competitions end with members recieving awards of one sort or another.<br> <br>He has taken up the job to create a house website. He instituted a mandatory character profile for each members, in which they were to say more than the basics about their character so that they'd make a history and get involved. He has served as Aedile for quite some time and has even taken over as acting QUA while Aseret was on leave and did an extraordinary job. His consistent service is an example for all.<br> <br> <b>As recommended by DJM Mairin Astoris</b>: Bant has been a long-standing member of the DB, and has been an Aedile since House Dominatus was first formed. His work has been continually exemplary, and his attempts to improve the activity levels and membership numbers within Dominatus are extremely good. I have no qualms in recommending him for this award - his hard work more than qualifies him for the same.

I would like to post one of the Archanis members that RECed QUA Crix Madine for this medal first before i post my thoughts and reasons for him deserving this reward.

Sir, I would like to reccomend that Crix Madine (DB dossier 107) recieve the Sapphire Blade; for his consistant, inspirational, and excellent service as Quaestor of House Archanis.

Crix has been Quaestor of Archanis for three months now. He led us to victory in the Sith War, and constantly serves as a source of guidance and inspiration for the members of Archanis. It goes without saying that his reports are most always on time, and of high quality. He is continually giving us CMDRs new ideas and ways to improve our Battle Team's performance, as well as answering any questions we may have as to procedures or requirements. In the midst of all this he as found time to fly a few missions here and there, so to maintain his "leadership by example."

House Archanis is now preparing to open it's fourth Battle Team. To my knowledge this is the first time in the history of the Brotherhood that any House has opened a fourth team. This stands as a testament to Crix's outstanding work as Quaestor, his dedication, and unparalleled service to his House, Clan, and the Brotherhood as a whole.

I believe he deserves this for not only the above reasons but also for the fact that he is always on IRC talking chatting with the members of Archy as well as helping them daily. To Cite one exact time that he did so. Was when a new member NOV Conjre wanted to know if his QUA would fly with him in XvT of course Crix never passes something like that up.

He also works fairly closely with my PCON on updating and or making the Jedi Trials which is what we use to help the members answer the time old Question of what can i do for a Promo?? this is something that the ARchy members use on a daily basis for doing just that.

For all the reasons that the RECing member RM of House Archanis and myself have stated i believe that CRix Madine is well deserving of such a medal.
