Primary reason

Vincent has continued to be an incredibly valued and impactful member of Clan Scholae Palatinae since his last recognition. His presence has been truly irreplaceable; not only as a dedicated member, but also during his time as Quaestor of House Caliburnus where he led effectively for an additional four months before stepping down. Throughout his leadership, Vincent remained consistently motivating, positive, and effective.

Although he stepped down due to real-life responsibilities, Vincent continues to be an active and engaged member of the clan as time allows. His dedication is reflected in his impressive participation record: 319 competitions, nearly 100 Crescents earned, a Silver Nova, 162 Clusters of Fire, 17 Clusters of Ice, 34 Clusters of Graphite. He came in 2nd place overall for the clan event we just finished and those are just a few of the many things he has accomplished. Beyond regular activity, he also made significant updates to the Steelstrike Garrison wiki page, helping to define the lore and identity of the Caliburnus base.

Vincent’s ongoing contributions leave a lasting mark on CSP, both in activity and community spirit. Words can’t fully express how much we value him, but perhaps a Ruby Scepter would be a good start. Congratulations, Brujah!

Additional reasons

Where to even begin with Vincent? Rayne has masterfully outlined the absolute metric ton of activity he has had since his last medal. It's just really insane how much he has done. 1.3 million credits earned is by far the top in the clan over that period.

During his last four months as Quaestor, he helped out significantly in the wiki work of clan pages. He got the framework for the HC page up. helped me with edits to pages before I uploaded them, and was a big help with ideas and planning the projects. I love it when people make our job easier. Vincent did just that. His efforts were vast and always on point, and more importantly, done promptly.

Congrats Vincent!

Master Selika Roh di Plagia
Primary reason

Nora Olen is one of Plagueis's finest members, maintaining absolutely amazing activity levels while also contributing a truly stellar amount of staff and support work for the Ascendant Clan. In a bit of a reversal, I'm going to lead with the non-site tracked work she has done and then follow on with the site tracked metrics. It's been a bit since Nora received recognition of the variety that the site doesn't track and quantify, so buckle up because it's gonna be a journey. Nora's last award with a speck of non-site XP on it was handed out back in August of 2023, and there have been quite a few events and a mountain of summit work in the intervening time. Nora has held down the fort as the Queastor of both Houses at one point or another for a total of just over 13 months of that time, and then added another two months as Proconsul to boot. Those times have overlapped with a Great Jedi War, Pro Bowl, and several Clan feud events. Her work during Great Jedi War XVI was absolutely muchly responsible for the Clan's overall second place finish, with her House's contributions being a 60%+ participation rate that was driven by Nora's steadfast one on one engagement with her members. She and TuQ were both in a competition for overall participation for their units, and drove 23 unique entrants and 8 members to achieve 100% participation scores. Without Nora's work, there is no doubt in my mind that Plaguies would not have managed the second place point total that we were able to manage. Beyond that, she did excellent work promoting both our Ascending Conflict feud in 2024 and our recent Ascending Conspiracy event in 2025, with both Clan events seeing 50%+ participation rates for the units she managed (the clan as a whole for the former as PCON and House Tyranus as QUA for the latter). Even when not holding an official position during the most recent Pro Bowl, Nora was a tireless peer leader driving Plagueis participation levels, which is in large part why she was brought back to the summit as QUA immediately upon the event's conclusion. She was additionally assigned 10 unique award and/or promotion recommendations to submit on behalf of her members over her time on the summit (outside of auto generated recommendations via the XP system), and completed all of them in a timely manner to ensure our members are recognized for their efforts promptly. Beyond that, she even took it upon herself to get the wiki page for House Ventress (her unit at the time) created and uploaded to the wiki, finally building upon a general outline that had languished for more than a year since the unit's inception. The amount of work Nora has done, through good and hard times both, demonstrates the level of dedication Nora brings to the table at all times. I can, without hesitation, state that our Clan would not be in such a healthy place nor would I look forward to reading our quarterly activity breakdowns from the Council without the work that Nora does for Clan Plagueis.

When it comes to the subject of tracked activity, Nora is still an absolute machine. Since her last medal in mid-January, Nora has participated in 158 competitions while taking home placement hardware in 111 and eleven of them (in the form of 3 Diamond, 14 Ruby, 27 Amethyst, 23 Sapphire, 26 Emerald, 13 Topaz, and 5 Quartz Crescents). That means that Nora takes home a placement in just over 70% of the competitions she enters. If the site didn't track it, I might not be able to believe such a staggering statistic. She's also earned 107 Clusters of Fire, 2 Clusters of Ice, and 20 Clusters of Graphite. I know that activity at that level would leave me absolutely exhausted without a lot of bandwidth for anything else, but refer again to the prior paragraph to see how much work on top of her own activity Nora does to give back. Absolutely stellar. I know that I am thankful every day that I have Nora on staff, as her contributions really are larger than any of the words I've used to describe them. Through thick and thin, Nora has done her Clan proud and given great credit to the ranks of the di Plagia. She has served the members of Plagueis with a tireless dedication unrivaled in the more than two decades I have served in the Brotherhood. I know the Councilors she worked for will also outline her stellar work within the Brotherhood community as a whole, but I can say that she continues to impress in the small corner of it that I am charged with the stewardship of. I'm glad to finally be able to put "pen to paper", so to speak, and document for the official record all of the hard work that Nora does to make our Clan and the Brotherhood a better place for all. Once again Nora, and not for the last time I'm sure, you have my thanks and the thanks of a grateful clan.

Additional reasons

In her time as Magistrate to the Herald, Nora contributed on several team projects including 5 custom robes, 1 custom weapon and 1 custom elder warbanner, generating a total of 7 images. She provided several quality concept sketches as well as adding base colors to several projects.

What I really enjoyed about having Nora on my team was her willingness to try new things, to step up no matter what was asked of her even if it fell outside her comfort zone. Indeed, she provided some great concepts and she was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Congratulations on your new reward!

Bale Andros, 2025-06-10 13:15:30 UTC

Nora is one of few members who has been doing Emissary work since before the position of Emissary was created. She was appointed as the Brotherhood's Communications Tribune in June 2023, responsible for the day-to-day management of the club's presence on social media. She's continued in that role since I became Emissary.

In the time I've had her on staff, Nora has been instrumental in carrying out the Brotherhood's social media strategy. She's contributed to hours of discussions, and created templated graphics for over 50 social media posts, which she posts every week. Besides the effort that goes into preparing each of these graphics, Nora's work on the Brotherhood's social media presence has enormous downstream impacts. In the first quarter of 2025, traffic from social media platforms to the Brotherhood's website increased by almost 120% over the end of 2024. In other words, twice as many people were coming to our website from social media—which gives us twice as many opportunities to recruit them. It's not an exaggeration to say that Nora has been the main driver of these results, which are a critical part of the Brotherhood's recruitment strategy.

As I've laid out above, Nora is an outstanding member of my staff. Despite the sometimes challenging events of the past two years, she's consistently performed her duties well, with notable results.

Congrats on your award, Nora!

It is indisputable that Korvyn is an absolute unit. Korv has been on the Regent’s staff nearly as long as I have. His impact in that time is absolutely immeasurable. In his role as Magistrate, Korvis most frequently worked on the behind the scenes things. He would be the one that did our policy updates, update the wiki, silently complete whole booster release sheets, or really complete anything that you put in front of him. His time as Praetor was no different.

Since his last medal, Korv has contributed to the Dirty 30 release, helped update and write revisions to the Aspect Policy, captained the development and release of the Upgrades project alongside Anubis, completed countless QoL updates, and so much more.

For the DB’s 30th anniversary release, Korvis was instrumental in finding and researching all of the unique DB items. He was able to find many different items that corresponded to the various great Jedi wars and fit with the overall theme of the release. He also greatly assisted in the input and QC of this release.

For the upgrades project, Korvis worked with Anubis to get all of the land vehicles and space vehicles updated to the new “Upgrade slot” template. He has also rewritten 86 armor aspects into new prototypes that will be included in a future release. He’s also done the same for droid aspects. Korvis was absolutely instrumental in getting this project off on its feet. He’s completed much of the ground work that will make it easier for us to release in the coming weeks.

As a councilor, having a trustworthy and reliable staff is essential to success. Korvis certainly fits that mold. As Regent, I came to rely on Korvis to get tasks done quickly and efficiently. I came to rely on his decision making to be well informed and based in a deep knowledge of how the possessions system operates. And in all the time we worked together, he never let the Office down. Upon his recent transfer to the office of Praetor of the Headmistress, I found no bitterness. Instead, I found myself thinking how fortunate the HM’s office is to have such a dedicated and passionate Praetor. I wish Korv all the luck in the world with his new venture. I have no doubt that you will crush that role and help the Shadow Academy move to new heights, much like what you have done for the Regent’s office. Congratulations, my friend.

Additional reasons

Since Korvyn's last award we, unfortunately, had another unique case within the Chamber of Justice. In this situation, Korvis, as Right Hand of Justice, had to research a suspected clone. While digging through the history of this individual the Chamber uncovered that this individual had previously been investigated by the Chamber nearly a decade ago but was not tried.

Korvis was key to the discussions, and alignment, on two separate points unique to this case.

  1. An analysis of the Covenant and the applications related to cloning (which does not have a time limit) and how to handle a case that was not finished nearly a decade prior. These discussions led to a proposed amendment, that, while not voted into the Covenant, was a great experience for Korvyn to learn the process of drafting, discussing, supporting, and executing a vote for an amendment.

  2. This was the second case post introduction of XP. The chamber had learned a lot from Case 071 and Korvyn was, again, heavily involved in the discussion, planning, and execution of the revised approach to both remove XP (e.g., resetting current progress) and deducting XP (e.g., negative XP) to implement a punishment that also always an individual to re-earn their standing at their own pace.

The second item has become a standard the Chamber intends to implement going forward in handling most cases that require an administrative punishment.

Beyond the sprint that was this case I continue to enjoy Koryvn's approach to matters within the Brotherhood and I can excited to see him continue to grow as a leader with his recent decision to learn about the Headmaster role.

Congratulations, Korvyn!

Korvis has brought a wealth of knowledge to CSP as PCON. His experience and insight has helped our clan moving onwards and he deserves every bit of appreciation for his hard work. Not only has he delivered results, but has done so with a great attitude and a strong sense of leadership. He does alot for CSP from running comps to creating and updating wiki pages to assisting in RPs. He helps out where ever it's needed and he's great to work with. Korvis is a valued member of the Brotherhood.

Congratulations Korvis!

Adept DarkHawk Sadow
Primary reason

Master Bentre Stahoes is one of those rare individuals you always want by your side. There are few words that can fully capture the scope of mentorship Master Stahoes has selflessly given back to the Clan. When one thinks of Clan Naga Sadow, Bentre’s name and reputation inevitably follow. He is a foundational pillar of this Clan, and it is truly an honor to speak to his character.

At one point or another, Bentre has mentored all of us. He has one of the most approachable and welcoming demeanors you’ll ever encounter, making him a natural soundboard for others. I doubt there is anyone in the Clan who hasn’t benefited from that endearing quality. I can attest to this personally, he has been a mentor to me since my time as Quaestor of House Shar Dakhan.

There has never been a moment where Bentre hasn't given his full attention to a fellow member in need, whether it was helping correct an invalid Character Sheet, explaining the nuances of Force powers, hopping into gaming sessions to boost GRMG ranks, or building our presence in the online gaming scene. From assisting with wiki pages and shaping Clan plotlines to offering advice to the Dark Council, Bentre’s steady guidance is felt across the board. Whether it was during his tenure with the Wiki, the Shadow Academy, or the Star Chamber, his counsel always comes with the weight of respect and admiration.

In full transparency, there are few conversations Lord Keibatsu and I have had where Bentre isn’t involved or brought in for his insight. His ability to work with others, read the room and attack the task at hand is a natural gift. His positive rapport with members across the Club "Is strong with the Force", one cannot help but value both his friendship and his wisdom.

Bentre is, in many ways, is the Swiss Army knife of CNS, versatile, reliable, and always ready to lend a hand. From addressing questions of “Have you seen this?” to “How do I do that?”, Bentre is always in the thick of things. If he’s not orchestrating something, he’s diving in without hesitation. Most recently, he took it upon himself to start prioritizing and updating our Clan’s wiki pages. An immense task that requires significant personal time, research, and attention to detail. Where others might shy away, Bentre steps forward. And thanks to his skills as a former Wiki Tribune, both the Club and the Clan benefit greatly from that precision.

His dedication to Naga Sadow cannot be overstated. While we often highlight the statistics and accolades he’s earned over his storied career, it’s his character and consistent presence that truly leave a lasting mark. His influence is felt, his mentorship appreciated, and his friendship cherished.

On behalf of Clan Naga Sadow, we want to extend our deepest thanks, for everything you’ve done for the Clan, and for all you’ve done for us personally as a mentor and friend.

It is with great pride that we, Clan Naga Sadow, recommend that Master Bentre Stahoes be awarded the Ruby Scepter. Thank you for your unwavering service, and congratulations on this prestigious honor.

Adept DarkHawk Sadow, 2025-05-21 20:11:22 UTC
Additional reasons

Bentre Stahoes is well overdue for recognition. In the time since he was last recognized for his efforts within the clan, he’s accomplished a lot. To his name, he’s participated in 76 competitions, amassing 22 crescents for placements to include a diamond and 2 rubies. He’s stacked 346 clusters of fire, 16 clusters of ice and even 38 clusters of graphite, proving himself as a triple threat. On top of that, he’s leveled up in the Combat Center and Envoy societies four times each. And that is before you consider that for the last year, he’s been the Wiki Tribune, a professor in the Shadow Academy (grading 81 courses), and served a term on the Star Chamber. By this accumulation alone, he’s more than earned the Ruby Scepter that I am recommending for him here today.

Listing accomplishments and the hard data points are but one aspect of these sort of reccs, and the easier part to quantify. The personal investment that needs to be explained is another, more personal aspect. Shedding light on this may not have the crunchy data that is easy to quantify, but nevertheless needs to be stated.

Bentre has had a storied history in Clan Naga Sadow. A consul Emeritus, he has made himself always available to the summit when a question needs answered about the past, or advice is needed from someone who has been there. The number of times that I am aware of Bentre jumping on calls with Darkhawk and I is over a hundred, and I am probably only aware of half of them. It shows his dedication to being there, not just for us as friends, but for the clan as a family. His devotion to the clan shows in every conversation we have, every fictional update we discuss, every development that we plan out. He quietly puts in the time, the effort, and the thoughtfulness to make CNS a better place, and I feel the need to thank him personally for that.

On behalf of a grateful clan Naga Sadow, a humbled summit, and an enthusiastic friend, I am pleased to recommend Bentre Sadow with a Ruby Scepter. Thank you for all that you have done, and for all of the things that I am sure that is yet to come.

Turel has been an amazing voice for COU since he has come home, helping give direction and power to House Hoth and the Knights of Allusis both. Never afraid to speak his mind, he has voiced his ideas, views, and hopes since day one back in the saddle, as well as given above and beyond support to the training of our recently promoted Aedile, Syrena Valkar, while she was still leading the Knights. He's also been a proponent of Gaming in COU, continuing to drive community involvement by jumping in anytime he sees members of the Clan, or anyone in the DB, for that matter, gaming, throwing down, and burning up clusters with the best of them. I could not be more proud to have such a storied and active member have come home to roost, and this award is definitely one that he has earned, twice over.

Turel, thank you for everything you've done for us, and keep that flame burning. Ever onwards!

Turel, you have been an amazing source of inspiration. Between taking the time to not only update the lengthy wiki page for an esteemed ship within the Knights of Allusis, but also adding in custom designed layouts for it as well… All that, in addition to all the gaming, RP’s, and comps that Turel regularly participates in within our community.

Thank you for all of your contributions, and for all you have done to play a part in helping to teach me when I first joined the Knights of Allusis.

Congrats, Turel!

Syrena Valkar, 2025-03-31 02:27:29 UTC

I believe this is the first time in our 11 plus years in the DB that I have been able to add my voice to one of your Awards. My awards and Promos are littered with so many of your kind heartfelt words and support that I do not have the time or words to express the same for you here but I will try. We joined the DB at the same time and even though we have spent 1000's of hours playing games I have seen you grow into a great leader and mentor in the DB. Every award and promotion has always been well deserved and this one is no different. In whatever you do you put you all into it and always try to make it better than the way you found it. You are a selfless person always willing to give back and this award is just one small way for the club to give back to you. For being a awesome member, a good mentor, prolific gamer and one of my best friends I'm honored to add my recommendation to one of the best leaders in the DB!

With great love, Congratulations My Friend!

Since her last award, Zuza served eight months as Arcona Consul, during which she helped to organize two very successful events: Pro Bowl VIII and AVD: Cabin in the Woods. She also participated in 150 competitions and wrote roughly 50k words of fiction across all of our fiction activities, while also finding time to earn over 500 CFs.

She was a model Consul, always active and visible, always trying to improve her members' experience in the club and ensure they had meaningful opportunities to participate in events and club activities, and her work had an immediate and lasting impact on timely member recognition in Arcona. Her relationships with the Council and her fellow Consuls were also excellent. I greatly appreciate her enthusiasm for the club and her clan, and her willingness to take on what must have seemed like an impossible task when she agreed to become Consul in the first place.

Thanks for you hard work and dedication, Zuza!

Lord Dacien Victae, 2025-03-24 14:05:38 UTC
Additional reasons

"No bird soars too high if he soars with his own wings." - William Blake, some English poet.

Throughout her consularship, Zuza Lottson set and defined her wings. She soared to heights of her own with plans of taking roost again when the winds had changed directions. Nothing is more inspiring than deciding the first event she wanted to host as consul was a four clan event. Talk about herding cats! But that’s what everyone loves about her, that clan boundaries are mere walls to scale and overcome. She went on to plan fictional ties with Taldrya in their events and had started discussing a possible event with Vizsla that I look forward to continuing and honoring. Progressing the growth of Arcona, welcoming both the new and old blood, building up the confidence of our members, and more. Zuza helped with any question of the Brotherhood, took the time out of her day to explain fiction inquiries, help folks develop their characters and stories, and just to be supportive of our ooc lives as well. She recently recruited two of her friends, assisted them with learning the club and dominating in gaming, and personally mentored Esen Dulle to Knighthood!

Zuza strived to ensure all our members were getting recognized timely and adequately for their activity and contributions in the Clan and Brotherhood, that they felt seen. She had led and helped support the recognition of 8 promotions, which included three Elder II promos, and 14 sacramental and merit awards, including a Emerald Dagger and 5 Ruby scepters. All since her last activity recognition. She worked to ensure our leaders understood the ins and outs of recognition, and instilled an expected standard of quality and value, even going so far as to inviting members outside of the Summit to add in their support. This level of training extended to advising on reports, events and fictional development, engagement and more. She was eager to hear and work out everyone’s ideas as much as possible and within the confines of our sandbox. The ‘Yes, and’ reigned strong.

It was an honor serving with you and knowing you. Congratulations, Zuza. Fly free, my friend! And may the winds take you to new adventures and enjoyment.

High Councillor Wolfe
Primary reason

For the last year now, Mihoshi, better known to the community as Jack, has been not just a rock for Odan-Urr, but for myself as well. When I shifted over from Arcona in December of '23, to take the position of Proconsul originally, I was told by Nero that he would be one of the best, currently active, people I would have to work with in Odan-Urr. Looking back over the last year, this was an understatement. Jack has been one of the best people I have worked with throughout The Brotherhood as a whole, keeping me grounded, challenging my grand ambitions where needed, and pushing my ideals where I felt, at times, trivial (and trust me, this has been common over the last year) to see my desires and changes for Clan Odan-Urr through to the end. Not only that, he's also served as a mirror and brake, stopping me from pushing myself to the breaking point on project work and obsession, forcing me to disconnect for days at a time and re-center on myself, especially when I was sick or injured and still tried to push myself, whether in the interest of competitions, participation, or making myself available for everyone, often to my own detriment.

While the others, Tisto, Vyr, Eechee, Jovian, and Syrena have aided in running grand projects such as our Western Marches Campaign, the Noble Houses of Vatali: Daleem Restoration, and the Reunification of the Vatali Empire storylines, as well as their individual House and Battleteam Stories, Jack has had his thumb on the pulse, keeping track of the many various Summit-level discussions, fielding general answers throughout the Clan Channels, helping anyone lost on specialty questions to find answers with the right resources or people, as well as taking on the back-end details, learning from my obsessive habits with the Clan Mailer, Trello, and Fictional Elements, while keeping me from self-destructing. First, as the Knights of Allusis Battleteam Leader, then Quaestor of Sunrider, then as my Proconsul when I took charge of Odan-Urr in time.

Throughout this time Jack has acted in a position of leadership and training, not just for the many new Members Odan-Urr has had, taking on and seeing 4 of them beyond their Knighthood as their direct mentor, all the while designing and helping run our 'Summer Camp' program, wherein we first connected with new members in a separate group chat to help connect with the more anxious and quiet members before integrating them into our pre-Equite Proving Grounds chat. He's also served as a leader and trainer for me, helping to re-integrate me into my mother Clan and connect me with the history I had missed over my years-long absence from The Brotherhood while providing me with insight and second-hand experience into matters of leadership, story building, and the various dramatis personae of our Clan. Over the last year, Jack has directly helped teach and train over twenty new-to-the-Brotherhood members, performed outreach for those with less-than-stellar engagement, and somehow managed to recall several of our older members from the fringes to bring them to the frontlines once again.

As a leader, Jack has worked to bridge the gap between some of our more disparate members, finding common ground between members with opposing ideals, bringing competitions and writing projects forward to help our silent members find outlets, and taking the temperature of our community at large. He has also pushed forward a series of monthly roleplay projects focused on the slower side of life, for members of Odan-Urr burnt out with constant conflict-and-contention-based stories, often settled around places like the Jedi Temple, Vacationing at a Baime Resort, or trips to the Tipsy Tusken, where our members can just sit back and unwind, socializing as their characters and finding common ground somewhere other than a foxhole. His impeccable ability to hear and deliver exactly what our member base has been asking for, delivering many asides and breakaway competitions to give our members a break from the doom and gloom of the wartime narrative. The last year has been full of his continued efforts along these lines, giving back to the members, driving engagement, and training, as well as being a sounding board and friend for anyone in need (no matter how much of a grump he portrays himself as).

The last year of Odan-Urr has been a series of many pieces falling into place, at times carefully coordinated, at others an utter avalanche. Jack has helped me sort and shovel the mess together, putting it all together as a Coherent mess and bringing together the various voices that make this lovable Clan of drifters, Jedi, rebels, rioters, do-goods, ne'er-do-wells, and revolutionaries one of the best places in our Galaxy Far, Far, Away.

Thank you, for everything, Jack.
Ever onwards!

High Councillor Wolfe, 2025-02-26 20:55:10 UTC
Additional reasons

Oh Jack, it was only a matter of time until this came up. I see Wolfe has the full list of what you have done, but it cannot be left as understated as it was. Jack is one of the most reliable members of the clan when it comes to talking through ideas or making sure the day-to-day stuff gets done. Sure, he grumbles constantly, but that's part of the charm. He is always there to bounce ideas off of and is one of the most prolific RPers in COU. Usually, these two things end up working together, with Jack being an amazingly active introduction for several of our newer members.

Congratulations Jack, hopefully this stick will help you thwack people standing on your lawn.

Padawan Tisto Kingang, 2025-02-26 20:53:15 UTC

I have so many things to say about this amazing individual of Clan Odan-Urr, I don't even know how to put them all into words. But because it was Jack who first explained to me in detail how to write these lovely things, I am going to try to do him proud in that regard.

No, I may not be listing all the incredible statistics of all the many, many ways he has contributed to both our Clan and Brothood-wide events (there are a lot when it comes to that), but I will say this: He was one of the first people to welcome me into Clan Odan Urr, and one of the reasons why I continue to stay and be an active member.

From the moment I first joined, Jack has put up with my constant questions (to which there were many and still are sometimes), about how the Dark Jedi Brotherhood works. These questions spanned from everything to the laws of the Brotherhood, to teaching me the overall website navigation, pointing me in the direction of the Shadow Academy, and explaining to me how different competitions within the Brotherhood work. He went above and beyond to make sure that each and every one of my questions were answered thoroughly, whether be giving me a step by step tutorial with screenshots, to a detailed multi paragraph response. And even when answering the first initial question of mine... He answered all my follow up questions that came after that! And he did that happily, with no complaints. Because of that, I felt comfortable going to him for help as needed... And because of that help he gave me, I was able to become a full fledged member of the Brotherhood, and now go on to share that understanding I've gained from him with others.

More than that, Jack is constantly encouraging all the members of the Clan around him. And I mean constantly. He is always giving us updates on ways to be active, and always inspiring us to take those opportunities and do so. More than that, he has also empowered me to be able to serve the Clan on a greater level with explaining to me how certain leadership roles work, such as the Battle Team Leader position I currently serve... So even more teaching on his part!

But most of all, Jack has simply been welcoming, and that alone is a great strength. He's made me feel truly included in the Clan, and he continues to do the same for the other members there each and every day.

Oh, and speaking of rewards... It was also Jack who took the time to explain to me in detail how the reward hierarchy works, which is why I now know that being able to achieve a Ruby Scepter is both incredibly important, and a great honor within the Brotherhood... And so with that said, a huge congratulations Jack!

Wolfe has spent the last half year as Consul of Clan Odan-Urr. In that time, he has run the major Western Marches clan event and helped organize and run Pro Bowl VIII. He's organized 145 competitions and participated in 70. He's also been a regular participant in and DM of RPs, running six sessions and participating in nine. What really sets Wolfe apart, though, is his commitment to recruiting new members: at least ten have joined us since in the last few months due to his direct recruitment, and although they have not all stuck around, COU has grown to be the largest clan in the club while maintaining good levels of activity on average, with more than half of the (very large) clan participating in competitions last quarter.

Thanks for all of your hard work and congrats on your first Ruby Scepter!

I don't think I have enough words available to me to express my pride in getting to work alongside Diy, better known as Zuji. They have been a consistent reassuring presence across my entire time in this club and its always a heartwarming moment to be able to recognise them for that. It's been just over 6 months since Zuji was last awarded, and as usual they've been a fluster of activity and my right hand man through everything.

I'll start us off with the numbers. Zuj has organised 19 competitions, co-organising 5 more all while participating in 248 comps (55 Container). This earned them 4 Crescents with Diamond Stars, 8 Ruby, 8 Amethyst, 12 Sapphire, 6 Emerald, 2 Topaz and 2 Quartz for the whole set! Across 56 gaming activities they've earned 442 Clusters of Fire, also raking in 31 Clusters of Graphite. Not that fiction has been neglected with 77 Clusters of Ice (38,500 words) gathered across 3 ACC battles, 5 fiction events and 14 roleplays! They even took another shadow academy course, hitting 2 birds with one stone and gaining 2 degrees from it! This has all earned them 5 society rank ups and 848,820 credits earned for Clan Arcona.

As always, a pretty beefy numbers drop though it pales in comparison to their efforts by my side. Including writing a report a while back, they have drafted the base template we use for all of Arcona's reports barring the quick-snap ones about hirings. They take the time to comb through all the live competitions and curate it to ensure our members are aware of everything ongoing. Zuji has also been a constant sound board for my fictional ideas and back for the final entrant to the False Gods events, took over the fiction almost entirely. I provided guidance but they put the time and hours in to create that story in full.

While the last Pro-Bowl was being prepared, Zuji took over many of the day to day clan duties, stepping into their position as my Pronconsul. They were there to provide information and deal with any requests, independently ensuring that the clan was still rolling along smoothly while my attention was firmly planted elsewhere. This has also been true for the last two award sweeps per quarter. Zuji has been the one who collected the names of those who needed awarding and helped make sure I was up to date while I was struggling to keep everything organised myself. They took over any awards that they could and helped with the delegation down to our Quaestors. I cannot put a number on the time committment of doing that kind of data collection, organisation and utilisation. We've spent hours discussing ideas and Zuji has talked through the weird and on-pointe with me as we've explored the future of Arc's Fiction. There is nothing more I could ask of Zuj.

So, for my (likely) last action as Consul, take a bonking stick my friend. Use it well, and know that its as much as a tool for causing concussions as it is a symbol of who you are to this clan. A shining star, for good and when you so choose, absolute chaos.

Additional reasons

My dearest Jakob,

We all know you deserve this accolade and many more. Even when you feel you are coming up short of goals, even when things don't go to plan, even when dysfunction or down times drag at you. You are still the most important thing: there for your people in the end. In friendliness and cheer and daily reminders. In being the one to ask "how are you" and tag folks to see what's going on with their lives, bringing even us who've been burned or shy of the flame back towards the campfire to warm with everyone else. You've managed a metaphorical war on two fronts, comforting me and the clan through a traumatic upheaval while steering a new and sudden regime change into choppy waters with a steady hand. You've managed with grace and clarity even in hurt. You are this Clan -- this club's -- most tolerant, wisest, manliest goataur lumberjack master, and it would not be a community worth being in without how you have shaped it and the light you continue to be. Thank you, so much more than I can say, for standing by me, us, and anyone who needs someone to stand up for them.

To everyone else whom it may concern: Jakob, or Zuji/roughly 24+ other characters and NPCs and their lineages, has been an astounding Proconsul and servant of the wider Dark Summit. They are a constant source of communication, encouragement, and teaching, reaching out to every member who comes across their screen. They've managed events, competitions, reports, awards, and crises big and small. I believe he'll be the future of leadership in our club family, but right now, know they are currently our backbone. May this stabby be the least of the gratitude we show.

Arconae Primus, Consul Emeritus,
Atty

Zuji has been a constant guiding presence, not only "in front of the curtain" among our Clan, but also behind the scenes helping make sure that our Clan and Houses run smoothly. When I returned to the club after a long absence, I found myself rather rapidly accelerated into positions of leadership. While I wasn't exactly in over my head, I certainly had a lot of catching up to do between just the general day-to-day of the club but also the expectations and standards for leadership these days. Zuji has always been there to answer questions, provide guidance, and helpfully point out why my sometimes a-little-too-roughshod methodologies are not what's best.

I think anyone who spends more than 5 minutes looking at Arcona can see how important Zuji is to this Clan. They seem to be always aware of what's going on with our Arconans, is constantly checking in and providing advice or just a kind ear to troubles, and is the biggest cheerleader for folks around the Clan no matter what it might be they're doing. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Arcona would not be the Clan it is today without Zuji's tireless hard work and attention, and I definitely wouldn't be the leader that I am without their advice and support!

Primary reason

I thought we'd lost Ed to the permafrost of Hoth, but it seems he's thawed out and taken a renewed interest in our new young leadership. From offering direct, hands-on, support with the Knights of Allusis, acting as Syrena's de-facto instructor and mentor, spearheading gaming efforts across Odan-Urr, earning himself 782 Clusters of Fire (Tiger v. Dragon Pay-per-View anyone?), to blazing his way through the hallowed halls of the Shadow Academy, completing 22 courses and earning 3 new degrees, Edgar has left another indelible mark on the current generation of Odan-Urr. Edgar has exemplified the spirit of Urr, an enduring will to drive the new generations forward and pass the culture, ideas, and skills from one generation onto the next.

Since his last award, Edgar has participated in 199 competitions and raked in a Gold Nova, 2 Diamond Crescents, 9 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 20 Sapphire Crescents, 8 Crescent with Emerald Stars, 2 Crescents with Topaz Stars, and 4 with Quartz Stars. Ed also managed to bag himself 5 Clusters of Ice, and 14 Clusters of Graphite and earned 605,320 Credits for Clan Odan-Urr.

Ever onwards, Edgar!

High Councillor Wolfe,

Edgar, you have served as a pillar of activity within the Knights of Allusis, House Hoth, and Clan Odan-Urr as a whole. I don’t think a single week goes by where I don’t see your name popping up in my emails one way or another. More than that, I have learned a great deal more about the past of the Knights of Allusis through you, and greatly appreciate all the hard work you put in. This award to you is very well earned and well deserved. Congratulations, Edgar!

Syrena Valkar, 2025-02-05 15:05:28 UTC

You know they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, and yet even with his impressive numbers Ed still seems to be trying out new things. One would think a member as ancient as him would take the time to poke at a thing or two here and there but no. Instead, Ed has been a help to both the battle team and House, eagerly jumping into many of the newer activities in the DB such as RPs.

Congratulations on this award Edgar!
