When I’m running a competition or event, I know for certain that he will be among the participants. He showcased this trait in GJW XVII, earning 55 points towards our third place finish and 18 Seals Of Animosity! Thanks for everything you did! Since his last award, Centam was promoted to Equite 4(My first promotion as Consul!)! He competed in 172 competitions, earning 6 Crescents with Diamond Star, 12 Crescents with Ruby Star, 5 Crescents with Amethyst Star, 7 Crescents with Sapphire Star, 26 Crescents with Emerald Star, 7 Crescents with Topaz Star, and 12 Crescents with Quartz Star. Gaming is his true standout category and he continues to impress in that regard, earning a staggering 909 Clusters of Fire during that time. His Clusters of Ice and Graphite are nothing to scoff at either, 21 and 122 respectively. Centam ranked up his Societies 8 times, 4 times in the GMRG and 2 in each of the Inquisitorius and the Shroud Syndicate. He completed 7 Shadow Academy courses and earned 1 new degree, Sage - Writing. His levels of activity are a thing of legend - I think he may be the only person I've ever seen need to scroll to a second page to see all his active RP threads - and this is an inspiration to everyone in the Clan. During my time working with Bril as part of the Summit, he was always eager to step up and do whatever it took to keep things moving in Arcona. Bril was an instrumental part of not only the development of the Pathfinder Brigade - a bold, new organization for the betterment of Galeres - but also deeply involved in the development of C.A.D.R.E.S. and the related new diplomatic direction of the Clan. The Kon D'irin, one of our uneasy alliances under the system, were nothing more than a name until Bril got to work on them and now they are frankly one of the most distinct of the groups we are dealing with. It should come as no wonder, though, given Bril's propensity for worldbuilding and the documentation thereof. The award he received as July's Wikipedian of the Month is long-deserved and well earned, as Bril is an absolute monster at updating and maintaining Arcona wiki spaces both big and small. Bril has nearly as many updates, edits and contributions to the Wiki as I do - and it's literally part of my job as Wiki Staff to do that stuff! He does it for nothing more than love of the game, and love of Arcona. A more clearly deserved award I could not begin to imagine, and I am proud to be able to contribute my voice toward recommending it. It is for these reasons among countless others that I put forth my recommendation that Bril Teg Arga be awarded an Amethyst Kukri for tireless, continuous, and valuable service to Arcona and the Brotherhood. Whether serving on the summit, or leading from the front, he has an infectious enthusiasm to hold himself and others to new standards. He sets the bar, and helps others follow. This standard-setting has been a positive influence on the Clan as a whole, irrespective of House. So let’s talk specifics. Bril served as Aedile of House Galeres for a total of 231 days, and subsequently as Quaestor of House Galeres for another 96 days. In total, he led House Galeres for 327 days, just shy of a year. But leadership is not about time served. Leadership is not participation. Leadership is about action, it is about driving activity, and it is about both supporting and representing your members. Bril has done all three in spades. During his time in House Galeres leadership, Bril identified the gap in the fictional background to House Galeres, and quickly sought to develop the Pathfinder Brigade. This was quickly enshrined into Arconan lore, and has served as a foundation for the membership to use in subsequent fictions and submissions to the Dajorra Intelligence Agency contract board. He has also been feverish in his Wiki work, demonstrated through his recent Dark Side Scroll for his activity in June—whilst the GJWXVII: Animus was taking place. Bril may have stepped down from his summit position in May 2026, but he has not stopped leading. He has been prolific in offering words of encouragement both within Arcona and without. Bril took every request for proof-reading in Arcona, easily proofing over 15,000 words, and whilst also himself drafting up 13,000 words for the Phase I Multiprompt and achieving 4th place. He was consistently encouraging of all members, old and new, establishing his own motto: “Let’s goooooo!” which became a regular voice chat comment, and quickly spread as the Clan's unofficial motto to inspire and encourage. A few recent promotions and awards have gone through for people Bril works closely with, or for whom Bril is their master, and he has been quick to highlight that he wants to contribute to these recommendations. This is the kind of person Bril is, a people person. A born leader. And one that leads from the front. Let’s focus on that now… Bril contributed 170.95 points towards Clan Arcona’s final score in the recent GJWXVII: Animus. In addition to 4th in Phase I Multiprompt as we have already covered, Bril also placed 9th in Phase II, Pokemon Unite; 10th in the Event Long Battleplan; and, 6th in Phase II Combat Fiction. He is a polymath, and that showed during his performance in the GJW. Bril has delivered an exceptional level of activity across since his last reward. He has organised 7 competitions, co-organised a further 8, and participated in 87 (106 including containers and brackets). His fiction output totalled 65,248 words across 10 regular fiction activities, 39 roleplaying sessions as a participant, and 2 as DM, earning 140 Clusters of Ice. Yes… 65,248 words! And this kind of performance does not stop at fiction. He has also collected 542 Clusters of Fire and 20 Clusters of Graphite. His 26 Crescents reflect consistent quality as well as volume, with placements in roughly 30% of competition entries. He also passed 2 Shadow Academy courses, earning a Dark Side Scroll, and contributed 809,900 credits to Clan Arcona. Bril is a man that puts his money where his mouth is. He’s a leader, proven through tenure, and confirmed through action. His participation and activity is one thing, but the level of commitment he has to his Clan and this club is beyond compare. While other events did spur me away, that sentiment held true, and Bril never abandoned me simply because I was no longer a member of his Clan—the not my circus, not my monkeys mentality. I was Rogue, but he still invited me to participate, to RP, to engage people. And when I was gone, he still checked in. Was there to welcome me back and answer all my questions and catch me up when I returned for the War in May. He was there when everyone else wasn't. Member retention is the lifeblood of this club, and that applies to veterans as much as to new recruits, a sentiment sometimes forgotten in our collective concern for expansion and survival as an organization. But Bril's skill lies in his friendliness, in his efforts to be an anchor and a hook to anyone and everyone; new and old, Arconan and Brethren, he reaches out endlessly to everyone. It can be punting twelve year olds in Pokemon Untie. It can be wiki work and voice chats. It can be writing and RPing together across sixteen newly made characters and 100 character connections. That's my point: Bril connects. And he holds on. The first member of House Galeres to have participated in every event in the GJWVII: Animus. I would intermittently check House participation rates throughout the war, and every time Luka stood out—green ticks all around. They were a huge contributor to the Clan’s war effort, securing a huge 207.47 points for Clan Arcona. They secured a Bronze Nova in their Event Long Audiobook submission, they placed 6th in the ‘Icon of Sin’ Phase I competition, and secured 10th in the Hutt and the Bear Event Long competition. For context, the gap between Arcona and Clan Odan-Urr was approximately 240 points; it is likely that without their contribution, Arcona may have slipped into second. Their performance in the GJWVII: Animus is only one facet of their activity, however. They have participated in a huge 127 competitions, earning 41 Crescents and their Bronze Nova. They have also racked up a staggering 861 Clusters since their last award. Through this exemplary performance, they have contributed just short of 800k credits to the Clan. They have remained consistent for long periods and wanting for little. It’s funny, but you meet some wonderful people in all walks of life, including within the Brotherhood. Some inspire more than others. Luka is one of those people. They have had a real impact on me (though I expect they don’t realise it). Their quiet determination has given me pause for thought, and has helped me reflect on how I can adopt their approach into my own. He stepped into the role of Consul at a time when few others were either willing or able to do so, accepting the responsibility of guiding the Clan through one of the Brotherhood's most demanding periods. Leadership is rarely easy, and taking the reins ahead of a Great Jedi War required both commitment and confidence. Now, with the war behind us and his tenure as Consul coming to a close, it is only fitting that we recognize the dedication and service he has given to Clan Odan-Urr. Throughout his time as Consul, Jack provided the steady leadership needed to keep the Clan moving forward. He worked to support his members, foster participation, and ensure that Odan-Urr remained competitive during the Brotherhood's premier event. Even while handling the many responsibilities that accompany Clan leadership, he continued to lead by example through his own activity and engagement. Those efforts were reflected in the Clan's performance during the Great Jedi War. Odan-Urr recorded 36 unique participants while averaging more than 48% participation across every phase of the event, ultimately earning an impressive 5,633.40 points. Jack personally contributed 174.96 points to that total, demonstrating his commitment to standing alongside his members rather than directing from the sidelines. Beyond the war itself, Jack has remained an active contributor to the Brotherhood. Since his last award, he has participated in 126 competitions, earning 37 Crescents and 622 Clusters across a wide variety of activities. He also organized 39 competitions during that same period, providing members with engaging opportunities to participate and helping maintain the steady flow of activity that keeps the community thriving. As a Consul Emeritus and one of the Clan’s Sons of Sadow title holders, Sang has long been a guiding presence whose counsel continues to be sought by the Summit to this day. During this reporting period he organized two competitions and participated in an impressive 144, earning seventy-three Crescents and forty Clusters along the way. Yet numbers alone do not capture the true weight of his contribution. Sang has always been a steady and trusted voice, someone the Summit and membership alike know they can turn to for thoughtful guidance and perspective. Beyond his activity, Sang’s influence is felt most strongly in the way he supports the people of this Clan. He is always available when the Summit seeks his sage counsel, but more importantly he remains present for our members as both a mentor and a friend. Over the years he has consistently stepped forward to captain one of the CNS Pro Bowl teams, helping lead our members to victory while strengthening the Clan’s esprit de corps.
