Vailhanz (aka Bruno) has been an invaluable member of the Herald staff ever since he joined. Even under the previous Herald he was one of the keystones to quality in our little group. That has not changed. He offers advice and help freely and in every case he offers it with dignity and politeness. He works on requests and tasks with enthusiasm and always makes his work look effortlessly marvelous, and he keeps pushing the bar on his skills as well as challenging the rest of us to keep up, which is an excellent mentality for an artist to have. His critiques are fair and helpful, and with a good dose of teacher mentality, he enjoys helping other staffers in their work.

That's just a few of his qualities, but I will also list his work: Vailhanz has created 2 custom robes and 5 custom weapons for individual members, as well as 20 weapons for the selector during the 2025 Holiday Special, updating the 10-year old Armory Saber design to a modern look and style.

Since receiving his last award on 28 May 2025, Reaper Titius Osseus has continued to demonstrate steady and meaningful engagement across the Brotherhood, reflecting the sustained participation recognized by the Sapphire Blade. During this period, he entered 33 competitions, maintaining a reliable presence across a broad range of club activities.

That participation resulted in consistent competitive success. Over this award window, Reaper Titius Osseus earned one Crescent with Diamond Star, five Crescents with Amethyst Star, one Crescent with Sapphire Star, and seven Crescents with Emerald Star. These fourteen crescents represent placements in approximately 42 percent of the competitions he entered, reflecting both consistency and quality of performance.

His activity was anchored by a strong gaming presence, completing 32 gaming activities that helped sustain engagement across events. In addition, he contributed creatively through five fiction activities, including three roleplaying sessions as a participant totaling 1,560 words, as well as two roleplaying sessions as a DM producing 4,683 words, demonstrating a willingness to support collaborative storytelling in both participant and leadership roles.

Beyond direct participation, Reaper Titius Osseus continued to advance within the Brotherhood’s structure, earning two academic degrees and recording seven society rank-ups across multiple organizations, including the Aurora Collegium of Sciences, the Grand Master’s Royal Guard, the Inquisitorius, and the Envoy Corps in both participant and organizer capacities.

Taken together, Reaper Titius Osseus’ consistent competition participation, strong placement rate, sustained gaming activity, creative contributions, and continued society advancement since his last recognition warrant recognition for his excellent service to Clan Plagueis.

Warlord Pel Tarentae has demonstrated a solid level of dedication and consistency to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and the Clan. Even with his rigorous military schedule Pel has actively participated in 109 competitions, showcasing both commitment and reliability across a wide range of Club activities. In addition to his competitive engagement, he furthered his personal development by earning a Maven Societies Degree through the Shadow Academy, reinforcing his investment in the Brotherhood’s educational mission.

Beyond measurable accomplishments, Pel remains a steady and positive presence within the Clan community. He is always willing to assist fellow members, offering guidance, encouragement, and support whenever needed. His continued activity on Discord helps promote Clan cohesion, highlights member achievements, and strengthens overall engagement. These efforts reflect a genuine commitment to fostering an inclusive and motivated environment.

Since transferring to Clan Naga Sadow in August ‘25, Creon Neverse has proven himself to be a constant and reliable force within the Clan, demonstrating activity numbers, commitment and enthusiasm across both Clan and Club. In a remarkably short span of time, he has competed in sixty-nine competitions while also remaining active in Clan role-play sessions, contributing over 6,600 words that strengthened camaraderie, enriched ongoing fiction and helped drive Clan engagement forward.

Creon has also shown a strong dedication to personal development and education within the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. He has completed three Shadow Academy degrees, earning distinctions as a Maven in Societies and Personal Technology, as well as a Sage in Warfare. Alongside these academic achievements, his activity has been reflected in tangible accomplishments, including thirty-seven Crescents, an impressive total of 2,473 Clusters, and the awarding of a Seal of Loyalty, underscoring both consistency and long-term commitment.

Teu Buhkari Sadow has continued to distinguish herself through sustained engagement across several facets of the Club. She has competed in 106 competitions, demonstrating not only consistency but a clear commitment to remaining actively involved in the life of the Club. Alongside this, Teu has made significant strides in furthering her DB education, completing 11 courses and earning 3 degrees through the Shadow Academy, Savant Legends, Maven Societies, and Maven Personal Technology.

Beyond her personal accomplishments, Teu consistently finds time to support and encourage fellow members, balancing her real-life college program and work schedule with meaningful contributions to the community. She remains active on Discord, helping promote Clan activities, maintains engagement and fostering a welcoming environment for members at all levels. Her presence is reliable, positive, and beneficial to overall Clan cohesion.

Teu’s efforts have been recognized through the earning of 15 Crescents, 24 Clusters, 1 Seal of Loyalty, and 8 Seals of Transcendence during this period. Taken together, her competitive drive, academic advancement, community support, and sustained activity are commensurate with the ideals expected of the Brotherhood’s highest honors of both the Club and Clan. Sato Tarantae has sustained a level of activity and dedication to the Club since his last award on 24 October 2023. Over this period, he has participated in an impressive 179 competitions, reflecting both consistency and enthusiasm across a wide range of Club events. Sato is invested in contributing wherever opportunities arise and puts forth a valiant effort in the process.

Beyond competition participation, Sato has made substantial strides in furthering his education within the Brotherhood. He has completed 39 courses and earned four degrees through the Shadow Academy, spanning from Pundit Communications, Maven Societies, Maven Personal Technology, and Pundit Activities. His academic efforts translated directly into achievement, earning him four separate placements in the Quarterly Shadow Academy Decathlon competitions. This balance of learning and performance highlights a member who values growth and application of knowledge.

In recognition of his sustained contributions, Sato has earned 35 Crescents and a Seal of Loyalty during this award cycle. Taken together, his competitive output, academic accomplishments, and demonstrated loyalty clearly merit recognition and Sato Tarantae is a strong and deserving candidate for the Sapphire Blade. Every now and again we pick up a member who is an absolute unit, Dot is one of these members. Having participated in 88 competitions since their last award, earning themselves 2 Crescents with Diamond Stars, a Crescent with a Ruby Star, 2 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 7 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 5 Crescents with Emerald Stars, 2 Crescents with Topaz Stars, 207 Clusters of Fire, 3 Clusters of Ice, and somewhere along the way making room to pick up a Scroll of Foundation. They've been a good force of change in Odan-Urr, a breath of fresh air bringing new gaming and writing fun into the clan, with 15 gaming activities and 2 fiction activities (a standard fiction at 502 words and a roleplay at 920 words) submitted since their last award, all of this bringing in 297,800 Credits for the Clan.

Dolot has also seen an increase in rank, climbing to Equite 1, and several Societal promotions since their last award, climbing 2 Ranks in the GMRG and Inquisitorius, as well as 1 in both the Shroud Syndicate and Envoy Corps (Participants).

This new generation of Odanites have been the lifeblood of our Clan, though often silent the consistent undertones of activity have shown a vibrant interest and community within the DB that opens up more as we engage. Dolot, congratulations, this is an award well earned!

It is my pleasure to recommend Arawyn Kir for the Sapphire Blade, recognizing a solid stretch of consistent activity and competitive success across the Brotherhood.

Over this period, Arawyn has taken part in 37 competitions, showing up regularly and staying engaged across a wide range of events. Those efforts have translated into a strong set of placements, earning 4 Crescents with Diamond Star, 5 with Ruby Star, 8 with Amethyst Star, 7 with Sapphire Star, 4 with Emerald Star, and 1 with Topaz Star. That mix of Crescents reflects not just participation, but repeated follow-through and dependable performance.

Gaming continues to be where Arawyn is most active. He has completed 11 gaming activities, earning 152 Clusters of Fire in the process. That kind of output speaks to consistency and reliability, and it adds up to a meaningful contribution to Clan activity. He has also put time into graphics competitions, picking up 54 Clusters of Graphite through his visual and design work.

On the fiction and roleplay side, Arawyn has completed 3 activities, including 2 pieces of regular fiction totaling 1081 words and 1 roleplaying session totaling 920 words, earning 4 Clusters of Ice. While this isn’t his primary focus, it shows a willingness to engage creatively and support the narrative side of the Club as well.

Beyond competitions, Arawyn has continued to build his foundation within the Brotherhood. He has passed 3 Shadow Academy courses and earned 2 degrees, along with 9 society rank-ups across the Aurora Collegium of Sciences (1), Grand Master’s Royal Guard (2), Inquisitorius (2), Shroud Syndicate (3), and the Envoy Corps as a participant (1). He has also stayed engaged through 2 news post comments, contributing to the broader conversation within the community.

Overall, Arawyn Kir’s record shows exactly the kind of steady, dependable involvement the Sapphire Blade is meant to recognize. He continues to show up, contribute, and perform across a wide range of activities, quietly building an impressive body of work over time. The Sapphire Blade, beyond an XP milestone, has always been a symbol of long term dedication to not just competitions, but to service and loyalty to the Brotherhood or a position within it. I believe that serving on a DC or Society Leader staff, at any level, is going above and beyond the typical member churning through competitions, and deserves to be awarded on par with regular club leadership. Because giving of yourself to benefit others is something that cannot be quantified with XP or numbers.

For the past 2 years, Atty has been a consistent, day-in, day-out member of the Exarch Staff. She came in and immediately aligned with my goals for what RP needed to become, culturally, for this club. She saw the opportunity to build that community and did what she has always done best: engage directly with members that might have other been too shy or anxious about trying out the RP format and empowering/encouraging them by learning their characters, understanding them, and gently coaxing them into activity while building their confidence. This is highlighted by her commitment to running, on a dedicated consistent schedule, the Shame Corner RP series that she created and operated, which I'll expand upon next, as this award will focus on the intangible things that were achieved instead of just a copy and pasted datapoint. She has also been a part of our project proposals and policy documentation that we've had to clarify, draft, and implement as RP has changed and evolved.

The Shame Corner's premise, after its initial launch, has become that the RP would be run for 1 month only and would close consistently the last of the month to ensure that all participating members could generate or get their "streak" point towards RP Player Trophy progression. This has the result of getting members who might otherwise be shy or not sure how to get involved with RP to advance in the ranks and get the award-feedback loop we designed for the Envoy Corps. It also gave a familiar, consistent setting that grew and evolved with the members who took part regularly, and offered an "open-to-all" option for those who were not able to fully commit to a structured RP or felt otherwise lost in larger social RPs run by their units. There have been 16 iterations of the Shame Corner, and this consistency has held up through all her other efforts to be online and present for the members of these sessions. She also established the Shame Corner Wiki page and ran supplemental competitions to make it feel more like a living venue, increasing the value-add for members that engaged or took part in the activity.

Running a large social RP like this involves hours of work, planning, and coordination. And while we do award Golden Envoy Marks and CIs, neither really serve as a motivation as she was one of the first few to hit Rank 12 in the DM Trophy, but also the current record holder for most CI's in the clubs modern, documented history. Neither of those milestones stopped her commitment to helping members write their first times, or continue to write their characters into RPs with empathy, patience, and understanding. This has helped embody the definition of the culture I hope the Exarch Staff and its members can strive to achieve as continue forward.

Statistically, in her 2-year term, Atty has approved 112 RPs, a process that involves reading over/spot checking the RP before processing it to the site. This is more than any other member that's served on staff, which shows her around-the-clock dedication to making sure RPs are finalized in our workflow check/balance. That does not include the manual submissions that were handled before we had this workflow in place and the tracking. Similarly, she has lead the club with RP sessions organized at 26, and since RP can only be completed with at least 1 other member, this shows the commitment to engaging with others and getting them inspired or encouraged to write stories in our clubs sandbox. She has also lead the club, by example, with 129 RPs as a participant. This dual-commitment to running and participating in RP activity has, in one shape or form, helped RP reach the milestones it has over the past 2 years.

In closing, thank you for your service to the Exarch Staff, the Envoy Corps, and the clubs efforts to make RP it's marquee feature and a place where everyone is encouraged to write their character and stories.

It is a pleasure for me to be able to recommend Zed for a Sapphire Blade today, recognizing a consistent and long-term service to the Clan. Since his last award, 13 months ago, Zed has amassed the 5125 MXP for this award by participating in 56 competitions. His achievements in these events are reflected in a strong record of placements, earning 3 Crescents with Diamond Star, 13 Crescents with Ruby Star, 3 Crescents with Amethyst Star, 3 with Sapphire Star, 3 with Emerald Star, and 2 with Topaz Star demonstrating a consistent effort being placed into his work

One of Zed's many strengths is his commitment to our gaming community, since his last award he's completed 66 gaming activities while amassing 2213 clusters of fire. In addition to this, Zed has obtained 2 society level ups: 1 in the ACC as a participant and 1 in the Envoy Corps as an organizer. Most importantly for us in Vizsla, Zed has contributed 480640 credits to the clan coffers.

Zed's record reflects consistent engagement across our community and that benefits both his Clan and the wider Club as a whole. His accomplishments clearly merit recognition at this level, and I am pleased to recommend him for the Sapphire Blade, congrats!
