The Sapphire Blade, beyond an XP milestone, has always been a symbol of long term dedication to not just competitions, but to service and loyalty to the Brotherhood or a position within it. I believe that serving on a DC or Society Leader staff, at any level, is going above and beyond the typical member churning through competitions, and deserves to be awarded on par with regular club leadership. Because giving of yourself to benefit others is something that cannot be quantified with XP or numbers.

For the past 2 years, Atty has been a consistent, day-in, day-out member of the Exarch Staff. She came in and immediately aligned with my goals for what RP needed to become, culturally, for this club. She saw the opportunity to build that community and did what she has always done best: engage directly with members that might have other been too shy or anxious about trying out the RP format and empowering/encouraging them by learning their characters, understanding them, and gently coaxing them into activity while building their confidence. This is highlighted by her commitment to running, on a dedicated consistent schedule, the Shame Corner RP series that she created and operated, which I'll expand upon next, as this award will focus on the intangible things that were achieved instead of just a copy and pasted datapoint. She has also been a part of our project proposals and policy documentation that we've had to clarify, draft, and implement as RP has changed and evolved.

The Shame Corner's premise, after its initial launch, has become that the RP would be run for 1 month only and would close consistently the last of the month to ensure that all participating members could generate or get their "streak" point towards RP Player Trophy progression. This has the result of getting members who might otherwise be shy or not sure how to get involved with RP to advance in the ranks and get the award-feedback loop we designed for the Envoy Corps. It also gave a familiar, consistent setting that grew and evolved with the members who took part regularly, and offered an "open-to-all" option for those who were not able to fully commit to a structured RP or felt otherwise lost in larger social RPs run by their units. There have been 16 iterations of the Shame Corner, and this consistency has held up through all her other efforts to be online and present for the members of these sessions. She also established the Shame Corner Wiki page and ran supplemental competitions to make it feel more like a living venue, increasing the value-add for members that engaged or took part in the activity.

Running a large social RP like this involves hours of work, planning, and coordination. And while we do award Golden Envoy Marks and CIs, neither really serve as a motivation as she was one of the first few to hit Rank 12 in the DM Trophy, but also the current record holder for most CI's in the clubs modern, documented history. Neither of those milestones stopped her commitment to helping members write their first times, or continue to write their characters into RPs with empathy, patience, and understanding. This has helped embody the definition of the culture I hope the Exarch Staff and its members can strive to achieve as continue forward.

Statistically, in her 2-year term, Atty has approved 112 RPs, a process that involves reading over/spot checking the RP before processing it to the site. This is more than any other member that's served on staff, which shows her around-the-clock dedication to making sure RPs are finalized in our workflow check/balance. That does not include the manual submissions that were handled before we had this workflow in place and the tracking. Similarly, she has lead the club with RP sessions organized at 26, and since RP can only be completed with at least 1 other member, this shows the commitment to engaging with others and getting them inspired or encouraged to write stories in our clubs sandbox. She has also lead the club, by example, with 129 RPs as a participant. This dual-commitment to running and participating in RP activity has, in one shape or form, helped RP reach the milestones it has over the past 2 years.

In closing, thank you for your service to the Exarch Staff, the Envoy Corps, and the clubs efforts to make RP it's marquee feature and a place where everyone is encouraged to write their character and stories.

Farrin's contributions to the ACC set him apart from others as he's leveled up in the ACC society 9 times as a judge and twice as a participation for 11 total society rank ups. He's also amassed 92 Clusters of fire from his gaming, 2 cluster of graphite from his artwork, and 1 seal of loyalty for his continued activity in the club. As this member is from Vizsla, we also weigh his credits and I'm glad to say Farrin has contributed 137,190 credits to the clan coffers.

Since earning his last medal, Nobilus has organized 19 competitions, co-organized a further 2 and participated in 86 competitions. He has earned 11 Crescents (2 Ruby, 2 Amethyst, 5 Sapphire, 1 Emerald, & 1 Topaz). Additionally he has acquired a Scroll of the Master. In the Shadow Academy he has passed another course as well.

Over the last 6 months, Nobilus has been dedicated to improving the Taldryan experience for its members. He served another 2 months as Proconsul before moving over to one of the Magistrate to the Consul positions. From this position he has spent the last 3 months mapping the Taldryan segments of the DBWiki with the goal of splitting the work up into bite-sized tickets that can be assigned to members wanting to contribute to the Clan.

Edema R'uh-Kalinor has earned the required 5125 mxp for a Sapphire Blade! While some of this xp is legacy from past accomplishments she worked hard for, some is from more recent pursuits in gaming and sharing their love and skill in model painting. Since her last award, Edema has participated in 10 competitions and earned 1 Crescent with Emerald Star! She has done 1 gaming session and netted 10 Clusters of Fire. Edema's painted models earned her 8 Clusters of Graphite. She had also ranked up once in the ACC Participant trophy, and earned 1 Seal of Loyalty.

Edema has been one of our longstanding members in Arcona. She is one of the stones that have built the foundation of the clan and continue to hold it steady and sure. While yes life has been busy and hectic, Edema keeps in touch and provides emotional and social companionship with her clanmates. She remains a positive light in our community, warm and welcoming to all new and old. The support she gives is just warming and encouraging.

Over the course of this most recent period of activity, Blackhawk has once again demonstrated the steady engagement, versatility, and leadership that have become hallmarks of his membership. His contributions span fiction, gaming, and organizational activity, and together they form a clear case for recognition with the Sapphire Blade.

In this span, Blackhawk has participated in 50 competitions, taking home 12 Crescents in the process, including 3 Ruby, 7 Amethyst, 1 Sapphire, and 1 Emerald. That is a placement rate of nearly 25%, reflecting not only a high level of participation but consistent quality in his work across the board. His gaming record has been particularly strong, with 45 activities completed, earning him 260 Clusters of Fire and 18 Clusters of Ice, showing a reliable presence in both PvE and PvO arenas. On the fiction side, he has contributed more than 9,000 words across a mix of fiction and roleplaying, including 2 regular fiction pieces (1,448 words), 5 roleplay sessions (6,751 words), and 1 DM-led session (803 words).

Beyond direct participation, Blackhawk has given back to the club in tangible ways. He has organized a competition, judged in the ACC, and continued to advance through the Brotherhood’s societies, achieving 9 rank-ups, including in the Grand Master’s Royal Guard, Envoy Corps, and Shroud Syndicate. Seven months as Quaestor, 21 organized comps, 16 co-organized comps, 120 competitions participated in, nearly 1400 words in ACC, 1500 word regular fictions, 5400 words in roleplays with 700 words as a DM. In addition to this, Tisto has gained a basket of medals including a rainbow of crescents (3 Diamond, 6 Ruby, 9 Amethyst, 6 Sapphire, 5 Emerald, 2 Topaz, 5 Quartz), 663 Clusters of Fire, 18 Clusters of Ice, 40 Clusters of Graphite, and a Seal of Loyalty.

This is just one side of the natural disaster named Tisto. He also someone who is more than happy to sit down with his leaders, his fellow members, his fellow club members and just chew the fat for hours on end when his life gives him the time for it. Well done, Tisto. I'll miss having you on the summit, but I know you'll be back because you're like me and you'll always be back.

Kalen Joss, the sole Jedi in Plagueis, has refused to be intimidated by the Dark Side surrounding him and has become an absolute force within the clan! Perfectly embodying the saying “Do All The Things (™)”, Kalen has absolutely torn through both the clan and the club leaving virtually no stone unturned in his insane mission to do absolutely everything! Whether it’s working on his character, participating in comps or engaging with his clan mates on Discord, Kalen is always hard at work proving to everyone why he’s the best Jedi in Plag. Well, Kalen, you don’t need to prove anything to us. We know how amazing you are!!

In the past two weeks alone Kalen has been a flurry of activity, participating in 12 competitions and placing in 7 of them to earn a Crescent with Diamond Star, 2 with Ruby and 4 with Amethyst. Not only is Kalen placing in over 50% of the competitions he participates in, but he isn’t limiting his activity to just one thing that he’s particularly good at and is branching out to trying different things. Looking to learn more about the club and how it works has led to Kalen passing an additional 5 Shadow Academy Courses. Practicing his art skills has brought Kalen 36 Clusters of Graphite. Gaming with friends? He’s earned 21 Clusters of Fire for that! Now, what about fiction? This is the one that really blows my mind and shows Kalen’s insane level of activity. Since his last recognition (again, this was two weeks ago!), Kalen has participated in an ACC battle, two RPs and 4 regular fiction activities for a combined total of 9,591 words and 21 Clusters of Ice!! It’s no surprise at all that all of this has led to Kalen ranking up at least once in almost every single society.

Despite his alignment to the Light Side, this Jedi has made me proud to have him as a member of Clan Plagueis. I am honoured to be able to write this rec, and look forward to many more to come. Congratulations Kalen on your first Sapphire Blade!

Since the last time we were here, Syrena has been a flurry of activity. It seems like every time I turn around, she has a new idea or a new competition idea or a new something. She's managed to squeak out 9 competitions as the organizer, 1 as a co-organizer, on top of participating in 38 competitions. In those comps, Syrena has managed to score a Gold Nova, Crescents of many types (1 Diamond, 1 Ruby, 1 Amethyst, 3 Sapphire, 1 Topaz and 1 Quartz), 211 Clusters of Fire, 22 Clusters of Ice, 24 Clusters of Graphite, and a Dark Side Scroll for being part of a featured article on the wiki.

This, in addition to four society ranks (1 GMRG, 1 Shroud, 1 Envoy Participant and 1 Envoy DM), has put Syrena in the range of collecting yet another accolade for her wardrobe in the form of another Sapphire Blade. Well earned and well received, Syrena. I always look forward to whatever shenanigans you're going to get up to next.
