Since the last time we were here to honor this member, he has completed the following to earn the requisite 23,000 xp:

Doon has organized 19 competitions and co-organized a further 11. He has competed in 145 competitions to his own merit. Written a staggering 35k words of RP fiction, earned 9 rank ups (6 GMRG, 1 INQ and 2 Shroud). On top of this, he's gained a Grand Cross, a Steel Cross, 19 Crescents (1 Diamond, 2 Ruby, 1 Amethyst, 3 Sapphire, 6 Emerald, 5 Topaz and 1 Quartz), an impressive 1200 Clusters of Fire, 70 Clusters of Ice, 16 Clusters of Graphite and a Scroll of the Master.

On a more personal note, I haven't gotten the chance to really get to know Doon as much as I would like to know my members over the past year, but the times I have gotten the chance, he is a knowledgeable member who wants to help his fellows regardless of Clan. A member like this has always been kind of rare as a lot of people tend to stay in their own ponds because they make friends there and sometimes, you just wanna float on familiar waters.

For Doon, everywhere is familiar waters. He reaches out to help if someone needs it and he's always happy to toss out an idea or two if he has them. He can be a bit shy or overwhelmed at times, but that can be said for all of us. Doon doesn't let it get him down too often though and I find myself marveling at how he can soldier on even in the face of things that I myself hadn't been able to in the past. Something the upper Equite ranks used to put stock in was the willingness to reach beyond yourself, beyond your clan and impact the Brotherhood. Doon has been making that happen for some time now and it's time his rank reflected that.

Congratulation, Doon. This promotion is well earned and well overdue by my estimation.

It's hard to say you've been around a long time when some have been in this club for a rapidly approaching 40 years, but compared to LITERAL INFANT ME it certainly feels that way. You seem to know almost everyone, are always around to help, and have big plans for the future I'm excited to see play out.

Doon Doon has been my very good friend for many years and I am very excited to be able to write a recommendation for him. Doon has put through an incredible amount of effort and time into writing up a story line, reports, and throwing together comps for the Knights of Allusus. He has a lengthy history being an excellent forever GM Storyteller because of his numerous TTRPGs. I cannot wait to see what he has in store for the Knights!

Doon has been a great support system, helping me understand the DJB and also being someone I regularly play games with and share the magic of Dungeons & Dragons.

He has been a great partner to work alongside with on the Haute off the Press competition for Shrouding New Ground. Offering friendly critiques, and adjustments while doing his share of the coloring– securing us 16 Clusters of Graphite. -fist bump-

He is a great foundation for the clan and the club as a whole. While he isn’t the most vocal as some of the other members, he is readily available with a vast variety of knowledge to answer questions or to offer clarification.

I’ve not gotten to see your growth in Odan-Urr as closely as others have, though I’ve heard plenty about it through the grapevine. What I do know, is that I’ve worked alongside you and have been close enough to see the things you’re willing to push through to make stuff happen. You are a well of creativity and determination. Whether it’s Brotherhood related or not, there’s a neverending stream of ideas and plots pending in that brain of yours. What little tidbit teasers you’ve told me of your ideas for the Knights are exciting enough that I considered hopping again to settle in early for the ride.

I might still do that eventually but you’ll know when I do. Quick ad for the Knights of Allusis here~

Working as your consul, and then as the lead organizer over the year-spanning Star Dew Valley comp series, and simply across our five yearsish or so friendship, I’m glad to see you getting to do the things you’ve always been excited to do. I'm so glad to once again be making a recommendation for Yeyu. Every day I'm seeing their name and I appreciate the torch they carry in ensuring our gaming community in Vizsla is represented. Today, I'm recommending that Yeyu be promoted as Yeyu has reached the required 3600 XP to reach the rank of Journeyman 4.
