Meleu has been an excellent Magistrate, tackling every project I have given him with enthusiasm. His first project for me was done virtually immediately after I hired him; he updated the Clan and House policies to reflect our new stances. After that, he cataloged every Wiki policy into a central google doc so he and I could sort through them and decide which needed proper updating, and in what order. After adjusting Praetor/Magistrate policy docs to match our current stance, he moved on to the Nepotism Policy, where his work has really shined. Up to this point, Meleu had mostly been editing policies on the wiki to reflect recent changes, but when it came to the Nepotism Policy, he took the lead on the project. There, he re-wrote the document almost from the ground up. Following further edits from the DGM and JST, Meleu updated the policy online, and along the way, created a new template and wiki article series on Policies such that navigation of policies is far simpler.

Meleu's dedication our club has shown not only in his work for me, but also his work for Tarentum. When Tarentum was in need, Meleu answered the call, and immediately began helping the unit in any way he could. As a Battle Team Leader, he has run multiple competitions, both for the Clan as a whole, and a couple for his team, as well. Meleu created this team, and the story behind it, from the ground up.

Even before his time in Tarentum, or as my Magistrate, Meleu was familiar to me for his activity in the Brotherhood as a whole. Since his last promotion he has participated in thirty competitions and run nearly a dozen. In Arcona, his impressive work as a mentor earned him accolades and a Steel Cross. Simultaneous to his excellent activity in Arcona, Meleu was making his mark as a staff member in the Botherhood as a whole. As a member of the Wiki Staff, Meleu has edited literally hundreds of articles. As a member of the staff of the Shadow Academy, which he served on until moving to be my Magistrate, he coordinated edits, rewrites, and audits of many courses, earning him a Grand Cross. All of these show one thing: Meleu is a dedicated, active member, who works not only for the good of his unit at the time, but the entire club.

Meleu served on my staff as a magistrate for ten months, during which time he helped to write, edit, and grade dozens of courses, acted as a sounding board for new course ideas, and collaborated on projects ranging from the Shadow Academy Audit to various degree changes.

Even after leaving his position as my magistrate, Meleu has continued to grade courses as a docent for the two markdown courses and, in an unofficial capacity, review and edit courses and exams as needed. He helped to edit the recent revisions to Philosophy I: Views and the Planets and Stars courses, and has also edited the soon-to-be-released Regions of the Galaxy course. Prior to that, he worked with Dante to rewrite Grammar Studies and edited the rewrite of Alchemy Studies.

Meleu has been and continues to be a vital contributor to the Shadow Academy, and I firmly believe that he has earned this promotion. Congratulations, Meleu!

On behalf of Clan Tarentum, I am happy to join my voice in recommending Meleu Karthdo for his well-deserved promotion to EQ2. I've interacted with Meleu quite a lot since my appointment to Magistrate to the Headmaster, a position Meleu shared with me until recently. His work ethic and capabilities made him a great person to seek out with questions as I sought to do my part to help Tarentum; it was his compassion and willingness to put the Brotherhood first that caused him to respond to me not just with suggestions and advice but also a transfer into the Clan to help us "on the ground." He has played a major role in developing Mortis, one of our Battleteams, into its own unique subunit through competitions to develop the fictional details that are so important to a new unit - its motto, titles, and the like. Throughout this process, he's worked hard to ensure this identity grew organically, offering the members of his team the chance to "write their own story" as it were while also deftly ensuring it furthers the development of the Clan's identity as well. Further, in an effort to always have something worthwhile for our members to do - both those of his team as well as the Clan as a whole - he's also run seven competitions spread throughout his four months as a BTL.

Beyond just his leadership of Mortis, Meleu has also used his expertise as a Wiki staffer to assist members with the creation of their own Wiki pages as well as the Clan's; in this vein, he spearheaded a project to completion that cataloged each Tarentum-related Wiki article (over 150 by my count) and organized that information into an easily-referable format so that we can work on updating them as necessary. For the reasons I've listed above, I am very pleased to write on behalf of Clan Tarentum in recommendation for Meleu's promotion. Congrats my friend!

I am honoured to be recommending Meleu for his elevation into the rank of the Equites. It takes time, dedication and real effort to take the step up. All of which Meleu has proven since his last promotion, being heavily active and driven helping not only the Clan and House but serving inside of Dark Forge and helping it grow and find its own feet with the team Leader. Constantly filling my inbox with medals, ideas and anything else.

Since the last six months he has been tearing up the gaming scene earning himself an impressive 127 Clusters of Fire. Gaming with others inside of the Brotherhood helping those that need experience inside of ToR. Though he moves from gaming and still continues to participate in any competitions available to him, in total since his last elevation Meleu has already participated in 25 competitions. Threw his hard work and effort that he has put in to this the competition he has earned himself: one Crescent with Ruby Star, one Crescent with Sapphire Star, two Crescents with Amethyst Star, one Crescent with Topaz Star and six Crescents with Emerald Star. Showing his determination to give his all to competitions has been something Meleu has always been doing since joining the Brotherhood.

On Top of the medals and competitions we have seen Meleu do various other bits and pieces. This has taken the form of him expanding his knowledge of not only the Brotherhood and the SW Universe but also programs as well in the form of completing the following Shadow Academy Courses: Dark Maven - Philosophy, Writing, Galactic History, Web Design as well as a Dark Savant in Writing and Philosophy. In total achieving the amazing amount of 31 Shadow Academy exams completed as well. As well as this we have seen Meleu do a lot of writing in the form of run-ons, fictions and ACC taking home a total of 5 Clusters of Ice and completing three ACC Matches in this time. Proving his adaptability and willingness to take part in everything that the Brotherhood has to offer.

Earning himself two Dark Crosses, an impressive 7 Scrolls of Foundation, One Seal of the Master for Marduss and one Legion of the Scholar showing the impressive amount he has collected over his time. He has also been hugely involved in wiki work recently taking the time to expand on wiki pages helping these pages that he has had a part in and helped edit are as follows: Agenor, Apex Brigade Arcona Army Corps, Arcona Expeditionary Force, Arcona Navy Corps, Arcona Starfighter Corps, Armored Interface Craft-4 - Arcona, B-51 B-Wing - Arcona as well as another Ten more Wiki pages. That is a huge effort on his behalf as well as a huge time consuming project that he has undertook. Never complaining never asking anything just continuing the work silently. Setting an example to those around him and working with others to get them involved in the wiki project.

Meleu is one of the members who I’ve been dying to recommend for a promotion, and I’m thrilled to be doing so today. I’ve worked extensively with him in the past month on major updates to Clan Arcona’s wiki dominion, and I turned leadership of the project over to him months ago. He has consistently brought fresh ideas, new organization, and a zeal for improvement that is unmatched elsewhere. He has created a spreadsheet with each of Arcona’s 300+ articles, the current status and upcoming edits on each, and has built a team for carrying out the edits. He has tackled a gargantuan task fearlessly, and while there is still work to be done, there is no doubt in my mind that Meleu is the man to lead us forward.

He’s spent four months as Magistrate to the Headmaster, where he has diligently carried out his duties and brought his trademark efficiency to that office. And prior to that, he spent a few weeks leading the Apostles of Syn before transferring to Clan Arcona. Meleu has demonstrated himself to be more than capable of leadership, and he’s one of the most prized prospects in our farm system, to borrow a phrase from the baseball world. He’s one to watch, without a doubt.

There’s plenty of endless tasks, jobs and odd ends that are scattered around the DJB, and all of them have Meleu’s name in it. Since stepping up to quickly replace my former XO in the Sergeant office, Meleu has been an imposing and supportive shoulder to lean on. In the 14 days that i’ve worked with him, he has constructed the wiki with myself to an astonishing level. His personality with other members shows how much of a great leader that he will be one day and the constant support received through his Shadow Academy position is valiant. Since Meleu joined the team, his consistency within the brotherhood has not faltered. Earning a Crescent of the Emerald star and a Crescent of the Sapphire star along with keeping his professional duties to high standards. While in Operation: Figurehead, his diligence and compassionate focus for success and activity brought him to stand with giants at 3rd place in the overall competition; not an easy feat for a JM 8. I feel honoured to be one of the first people in welcoming Meleu into the Equite level and I wish him well in his future career with us.

When I first met Meleu in Plagueis' IRC channel, I could tell then he was going to be a wonderful addition to the unit. He showed great enthusiasm towards the process and rapidly progressed through the early ranks as fast as I could check things off. He ripped off SA exams at a breathtaking pace, having now reached Rank IV in the Shadow Academy and holding two Dark Maven degrees. I was even motivated by his enthusiasm for the Academy and got off my duff to finish some things. He's also been active in competitions, competing in 12 to date while earning 3 Crescents.

Beyond that, Meleu's also become a strong contributor to the clan. He sought out ways to help from the beginning and kept on trucking. Most recently he completed a write up of Plagueis' main base, the Anchorage, that had been long neglected. He did a stellar job and earned the second of his two Dark Crosses in the process. Meleu also has written a solid fiction and is showing the potential to being a strong addition to Plagueis' writers.

I am personally quite proud to see your hard work and perseverance pay off. I hope this is just one more step in a long and prosperous career in the DJB.

Beyond his activity, which has been considerable in both running (2) and participating in a number of competitions (7, placing in 2) , he's also been an active contributor on IRC, He's also been doing quite well in his coursework at the shadow academy, having react rank III in the short span of 9 days. Between all that he wrote an impressive 2000+ word fiction.

PRT Meleu Karthdo has more than earned his promotion to the Rank of Guardian. Having been a member of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood for a mere five days, his enthusiasm for the Brotherhood is impressive.
