Valin walked toward the stadium. He did not know or care what game was being played he just knew his quarry was the tall Trandoshan player in red.
Someone tripped and hit him, he did not really care it was a fairly crowded street. He got up to the receptionist and went to take his ticket out. It was not there. He sighed, whoever ‘tripped’ must have stole it. “How much is it to get a ticket here?”
“We are all sold out, if you don’t already have a ticket you won’t be able to get in.”
Valin sighed again, this time more deeply. “Fine I’ll come next time.”
He walked away but once he was out of sight of the entrance guards he turned and headed around to the back. He jumped the fence and went around to the player entrance.
A guard said, “You’re not supposed to be back here!” But Valin did not care. He quickly closed the distance and with one punch knocked the guard out. Proceeding through the back entrance he went through and onto the field.
“There appears to be a Mandalorian on the field. Security will have to deal with that,” an announcer said as Valin came into view.
The security certainly tried. Valin was charged by three officers but none of them were a struggle to fight off.
“We are going to have to ask those in the stands to please calmly exit the stadium we are postponing the game.”
Valin continued and the players started to fight. They had weak metal poles they tried to beat him with but they just bent on his armor. Valin kicked and pushed a few of them away before getting to the Trandoshan. He hit the lizard hard right on the end of the snout knocking him out then slung him over his shoulder.
At this point he engaged his jetpack and flew back to his ship, bounty procured with minimal damage.
Once he was up in space he was hailed by two tailing A-wings. “VCX auxiliary fighter stand down you are under arrest.”
“I don’t think so,” Valin replied before turning hard to face one of the A-wings.
“Be careful with me ship!” The Sullistan who was helping him on this job yelled from the gunner’s seat.
Valin engaged the ion cannons and quickly disabled the first A-wing with the gunner used live rounds against the second. Valin turned around and finished the second A-wing with the Ion cannons before putting the ship at full speed towards the edge of the gravity well of the planet and starting to plot his hyperspace route.
Four more A-wings came into pursuit and the Sullistan yelled, “We can’t fight off that many!”
“I know,” Valin said and scanned the area. There was a caravan of civilian freighters nearby, IDing them he saw they were BFF-1s, meaning they were unarmed. He angled his ship to get up close to the freighters so the A-wings would think twice about firing. The gambit worked and once he was past those ship he hit the hyperdrive. Now the job was done with a little more damage that he would have liked.
