Bastion-class Assault Ship

The Bastion-class Assault Ship is a 450-meter-long frigate designed as a troop and armor transport that could land directly into battle. Capable of transforming into a heavily defended mobile garrison, the Bastion-class features a large cargo hold and is capable of deploying an entire legion of armor and stormtroopers. With sufficient supplies for months-long deployments, this vessel serves as a landable forward operating base. When landed, the forward bridge retracts under the cover of heavy armor plates and ground weaponry can be deployed. Large rear ventral armor plates can be jettisoned and deployed as walls or battlements. This vessel also features artillery cannons for use in defence when deployed. Hyperdrive capable, this vessel has average maneuverability and great speed, with powerful armor and great shields.
