Bulwark Mark I Prototype

The Bulwark Mark I Prototype is a 1000-meter-long Cruiser designed as the prototype of a class of close combat cruisers. Unlike many other CIS starship designs, the Bulwark focuses on protection over raw offensive punch. It features a primary armament of broadside heavy turbolasers and a heavily reinforced, armored hull that even allows it to survive ramming attacks against smaller warships. Hyperdrive capable, it has average speed and poor maneuverability, with average shielding and heavy armor. Manufactured by TransGalMeg Industries for the Techno Union, the production model of these vessels saw use as part of the Bulwark Flotilla by the Confederacy of Independent systems during the Clone Wars.
