Golan II Space Defense Platform

The Golan II Space Defense Platform is a 2,158-meter long Military Station designed with heavier offensive and defensive capabilities than its predecessor to better defend high-value targets throughout the galaxy and hold up to 5,000 metric tons of cargo. It is armed with thirty-five heavy turbolaser batteries, thirty-five heavy ion cannon emplacements, thirty-five point-defense laser turrets and fifteen proton torpedo launchers as well as ten tractor beam projectors that allow it to lock onto and move other vessels or objects. It has shielding and hull strength similar to that of a destroyer class ship as well as space for two squadrons of starfighters, one in each hangar on either end of the platform. It is deadly against all but the largest warships, finding use throughout the galaxy by those who can afford it.
