The K79-S80 Imperial Troop Transport Platoon is a troop transport unit that consists of eight K79-S80 Imperial Troop Transports, along with eight pilots, eight gunners, eight technicians, and four mechanics to operate and maintain them. Designed to move soldiers in war zones, the Imperial Troop Transport is heavily armored and carries its passengers in exposed auto-locking bays on the sides of the vehicle while the gunner sits in the cab with the pilot and operates the two forward laser guns and dorsal mounted twin laser turret. Operated by the pilots in the platoon, each can carry 6 passengers allowing the platoon to carry 48 soldiers or passengers. Used by the Galactic Empire to move troops to combat or while on patrol.
