Kasta drums are percussion instruments with a goblet-shaped body and reinforced metal frame. Often made of composite materials with a taut skin head, they can be played by hand, with sticks, or with mallets, producing low, earthy thuds when struck. One was present in the castle of the pirate Maz Kanata on the planet Takodana.
