Longbeam-class Cruiser

The Longbeam-class Cruiser is a 250-meter long Corvette first produced during the High Republic era by the Republic Shipyards at Hosnian Prime, and re-engineered by ArxMotors. It featured a long slender shape with four engines at the rear, with the front of the vessel tapering off into a sinous shape reminiscent of a tailfin. They are built as multi-purpose craft that could be used for combat, search and rescue, transport, or other purposes. Their cargo bay can double as a hangar and store up to three starfighters inside. Hyperdrive capable, this vessel has exceptional speed and maneuverability, with light armor and average shielding. The Longbeam-class Cruiser was extensively used by the Galactic Republic, including during the Great Hyperspace Disaster.
