R93 Refractor

The R93 Refractor was a hyperdrive-capable starfighter with two rotating wings, with one having a larger length than the other. In the docking position, both wings would rotate upwards to allow landing. The Refractor had two flight modes: Recon Mode and Assault Mode.

In Recon Mode, the smaller wing is positioned above the vessel, with the larger being beneath. Recon mode allows the ship to have faster speed, acceleration, and maneuverability, but only two of the laser cannons can fire in this mode, and the ion torpedoes are disabled.

Assault Mode, both wings flip to a horizontal position opposite each other. During Assault mode, the ship's maneuverability is noticeably reduced, but all four of the cannons on the ship will fire, and the missile launcher can be used.
