Tartan-class Patrol Cruiser

The Tartan-class Patrol Cruiser is a 250-meter long Corvette designed as an anti-starfighter and anti-bomber patrol ship to engage Imperial and pirate ships towards the start of the Empire. Hyperdrive capable and equipped with powerful computers and targeting sensor arrays, as well as state-of-the-art engine systems, the Tartan-class Patrol Cruiser was capable of keeping up with starfighters with its high speed and maneuverability, as well as its heavy armor. Because of the tremendous power required for these systems and the engines, however, the shields were weak and often made these vessels targets for capital ships.
