Tector-class Star Destroyer

The Tector-class Star Destroyer is a 1600-meter long Destroyer produced by Kuat Drive Yards, widely considered to be one of the largest Republic ships during the Clone Wars. It was designed to be atmospherically capable, for both planetary defense and planetary assault. Unlike other Star Destroyers, the Tector-class sacrificed its hangar bays in exchange for additional armor plating, resulting in less access to internal weak spots and more cargo space. Hyperdrive capable, this vessel has average maneuverability and speed, with heavy armor and shielding.
