The w-165 Planetary Turbolaser is a ground-based surface-to-space cannon. Designed by Kuat Drive Yards, it is the most powerful planetary turbolaser ever built. It was regarded as 4 times as powerful as the v-150 Planetary Defender and is capable of destroying an Imperial Star Destroyer with a sustained volley. The cannon rests on a platform that is 150 meters in diameter. The platform possesses eight stabilizer legs, which allow it to be utilized on either unstable terrain or on floatation platforms. The barrel of the cannon is 25 meters in diameter. It is heavily armored and heavily shielded.
