The O-66 Pilot Droid is a specialized Pilot Droid designed to be a caretaker and pilot droid. It has a humanoid appearance with silver plating, and is incredibly protective of the vessel it is assigned to. It has the ability to repair itself, even if decapitated. Emperor Palpatine was known to utilize one of these droids to care for the Scimitar after the fall of Darth Maul.
O-66 Pilot Droid has developed a personality revolving around analytics with no room for imagination. This results in a myriad of statistics and rules of logic being delivered routinely. Such a personality can be grating on others, and often is greeted with annoyance.
O-66 Pilot Droid has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this O-66 Pilot Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
