Prototype: Beskad
The Beskad is a traditional Mandalorian sword constructed from durasteel. It was designed by Mandalorians based on a design from the ancient Taung. It has a single-edge blade that widens toward the tip before tapering to a point. Two metal guards protect the wielder's hands at the top and base of the hilt and were traditionally accompanied by a Kal in the offhand.
Beskad has seen combat, and it shows, with marks scarring the body on the weapon, and minor damage in the form of scratches and dents unrepaired since they had no impact on the functionality of this Beskad.
