The Merqaal is a non-sentient quadrupedal Mammal. Its most notable feature are its split ears, which are separated into three parts. has a large mouth and large eyes. The back of this creature is covered in a scale like covering, while the delicate underside is coated in fur. These creatures make for great companions.

Domesticated

Lady Hatchetina was bred in a tame condition, and is comfortable around humanoids. It depends on humanoids for survival and looks to them for support. As creature handling goes up, a member can better understand and train and control this creature, but it will always look to Amara Eira-Haku for guidance and support. When a character is proficient (+3) at handling creatures, they can do all they need with a domesticated creature.

Lady Hatchetina has an instinctive need to “steal” objects from their rightful place and to move them to a different location. They do not always have a rhyme or reason for doing so, it just seems to be a part of their nature.

Lady Hatchetina is larger than the average Merqaal in terms of size and body mass. Their bulkier build can offer better power but often at the expense of the mobility and agility commonly associated with other Merqaal.
