The Elder Lightsaber is a rare weapon used by Elders capable of complex modifications and adjustments that require the skills of an Elder to properly maintain. The blade can still cut through virtually anything including blast doors, given enough time.
This ancient Dathomirian lightsaber features a heavily weathered, dark-metallic hilt with a subtly curved, ergonomic profile. The emitter is enclosed by a sharply sloped, angular shroud. A textured, deep red fabric or leather wrap tightly binds the grip section, with a loose strand trailing from the angular pommel. Finely etched Peridean runes adorn the metal near the emitter.
When ignited, it unleashes a flat, sword-shaped blade reminiscent of a traditional broadsword. The blade manifests as a fiery, unstable plasma construct with a vibrant green-to-black gradient core. Wisps of green energy resemble smoke or flame rise along its length, while the Peridean runes etched into the upper hilt pulse with a matching, luminous green glow.
This lightasber is equipped with a secondary emitter that releases the weapon's energy as a projectile similar to that of a blaster bolt, but rapidly weakens as travels to the target and is only capable of stunning or shocking a target.
This lightsaber has been constructed out of phrik alloy, making it lightsaber resistant and virtually indestructible.
