The Vial of Poison is a vial that contains enough of the dangerous elixir for a single dose.
Created by the infamous Malkite Poisoners, X-1 is designed to be ingested in small doses gradually over a period of several weeks or months, during which the dose is steadily increased. This causes the victim to suffer gradual deterioration of thought processes. The substance is also highly addictive. Once the victim becomes accustomed to high enough doses, the abrupt withdrawal of X-1 induces wracking pain, convulsions and eventual death. It is nearly impossible to detect and prohibitively expensive.
