Prototype: A-9 Vigilance "Tau Edition" Interceptor
The A-9 Vigilance "Tau Edition" Interceptor is a modified version of the standard A-9 Interceptor originally built by Kuat Drive Yards. It was a 7.4-meter-long starship that featured the same ventral-mounted laser cannons with a modification that allowed them to rotate in a 45-degree arc upward and downward from the center. Hyperdrive capable, it has great speed and maneuverability, poor hull strength, and light shielding. These ships were once used exclusively by the Tau Squadron of Clan Tarentum.
