A Holographic Projector Doubler Suit, commonly referred to as simply doubler suit, was hardware capable projecting a duplicate image of the wearer via a holovid recorder and projector to copy the user's image and beam a doppelganger somewhere else in the hopes of drawing enemy fire. It had a very limited line of sight range of 10 meters.
With various hermetic clasps and rubberized seals, Holographic Projector Doubler Suit is completely sealed off from any atmospheric threats or the vacuum of space. It contains several hours worth of breathable air, more than enough to handle the majority of most conflicts. The additional seals and air supply increases encumbrance, making the set several pounds heavier than the typical Holographic Projector Doubler Suit as well as decreasing overall mobility.
Holographic Projector Doubler Suit provides top-level protection. This item can withstand cuts and blows but will buckle under 4-6 repeated attacks. It also protects from small arms such as low-powered blasters and smaller caliber slugthrowers, though no protection from stronger or vehicle-based weaponry.
Holographic Projector Doubler Suit has been designed with an urban scheme camouflage. Each component of the armor has been applied with a mingled pattern of gray tones to better blend with an urban environment.
The boots on this Holographic Projector Doubler Suit have been enhanced with powerful magnetic soles that allow the wearer to maintain footing in low-gravity situations.
Holographic Projector Doubler Suit has been constructed with a reinforced exterior and fitted with seals to allow the wearer of the Holographic Projector Doubler Suit to safely pass through Class III and IV atmospheres from orbit, with slight resistance to electrical and ion storms.
