This ASP-19 "One Sith" Battle Droid has been reinforced with an experimental layer of additional armor plating, providing AR-1A “Aria” unmatched durability compared to a standard ASP-19 "One Sith" Battle Droid.

This ASP-19 "One Sith" Battle Droid has had most of its combat protocols wiped and replaced with piloting protocols, providing AR-1A “Aria” with the astrogation ability to serve as a basic combat pilot or gunner.

AR-1A “Aria” has been equipped with small rocket boosters proportionate to its size, allowing this ASP-19 "One Sith" Battle Droid to fly in sustained flight up to 5-meters in height and requires 2 minutes in cooldown between bursts to prevent overheating.

AR-1A “Aria” has developed a predatory nature similar to those often associated with assassin droids. As a result, AR-1A “Aria” will often approach a situation with the mind set of a hunter, and convey their findings as such. This can be disconcerting to others who are unaccustomed to AR-1A “Aria”.

AR-1A “Aria” has been equipped with advanced targeting systems, enabling it to acquire targets with greater accuracy than factory a factory default ASP-19 "One Sith" Battle Droid. As a result, AR-1A “Aria” has a reduced rate of fire.

Hector Ricmore has made his ownership of this droid clear with a custom paint job. The majority of the droid is painted a matte black, with the sigil of Clan Vizsla painted in a bright white. Stripes of purple line the droid’s body while a band of silver wraps around the droid’s head.
