Despir is a lifeless moon orbiting the planet Interitus Cairn. It has no atmosphere and is incapable of sustaining life. Due to its extreme interior temperature, a permanent crust is virtually non-existent. When in close proximity to its twin moon, Vigil, the added lunar pressure and gravitational strength cause the crust to shatter. Its lunar cycles last two weeks for each phase. Once the lunar proximity has ended, the surface cools back down due to the vacuum of space and a thin crust forms once more.
