The Lightdagger is a small and specialized lightsaber variant, much shorter than a traditional lightsaber and even shorter than the shoto lightsaber. Traditional lightsaber components have been downsized greatly into a small hilt, and produces a blade a maximum of twelve inches long powered by crystals that determine its characteristics and color. While it lacks the reach of a traditional lightsaber, the smaller hilt is much easier to conceal and shorter blade quicker to maneuver. It is capable of cutting through virtually anything, including blast doors, given enough time.
Endeavor has been modified so that it can be typically stored inside a specialized accompanying sheath that conceals the majority of this Lightdagger using optical camouflage technology.
This lightsaber has been built with a reflex grip, allowing the wielder to quickly adjust to changes in combat and provide an edge when parrying or deflecting.
