The Terrapin-class Bulk Tanker, also known as a Turtle Tanker, is a 38.2-meter-long bulk freighter designed to transport various types of cargo in spacious and partitionable holds. Manufactured by the Corellia Mining Corporation, it was widely used throughout the galaxy during the time of the Clone Wars. It featured all-terrain legs, which housed the ship's engines in the feet, that allowed it to land in a wide number of locations even without a starport or docking facility. Hyperdrive capable, this vessel has average maneuverability and great speed, with moderate armor and shielding. The vessel's cockpit doubled as an escape pod, and in the event, the pod was launched, the ship included a secondary command module enabling the continued operation without the cockpit.
