The Elder Lightsaber is a rare weapon used by Elders capable of complex modifications and adjustments that require the skills of an Elder to properly maintain. The blade can still cut through virtually anything including blast doors, given enough time.
This ancient Sith Zweihänder features a menacing dark-grey sassarrian iron hilt etched with glowing crimson Sith runes. The heavy crossguard is recessed and filled with malevolent red glyphs, featuring flared tips and a central skull-like Sith emblem at the center. Below, an elongated, ridged black grip provides ample room for a two-handed stance, concluding in a weighted, multi-faceted sassarrian iron pommel sleeve that hosts a final vertical line of glowing runes for perfect balance. The massive two-handed weapon has a violently fractured emitter, where volatile lightsaber energy bleeds through jagged cracks. It projects a formidably large flat blade with a distinct, pitch-black core enveloped by a vibrant, bleeding crimson plasma edge that tapers to a sharp point.
This lightsaber is equipped with a specialized emitter that renders the blade silent during normal operation, but still makes noise when it comes in contact with another blade, energy, or solid matter.
This lightsaber has been treated with Sith Alchemy, rendering the weapon almost indestructible and completely resistant to lightsaber attacks.
