Prototype: IX-series Incendiary Droid

The IX-series Incendiary Droid is a small insect-like Utility Droid originally designed to assist in mine site deforestation for ACE's Mining Consortium. Excellent climbers, these droids have a flame projector that can spit it's fuel mix up to 15 meters. These small droids are equipped with rapidly exchangeable canisters of volatile conflagrating fuel located in the "abdomen". When the fuel is depleted, the canister is ejected and a replacement can be fitted in mere seconds. They also feature an exotic alloy heat shield to protect its sensitive electronics from flame. This small shield can deflect several blaster bolt, before failing.

Black As Night (Droid Cosmetic)

Ignis has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this IX-series Incendiary Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.

Servant Droid (Droid Personality)

Ignis has been programmed to serve its owner without question. Acting much like a butler, Ignis will act for the most part in silence, and will adhere to the literal definition of its instructions to the best of its abilities.

Digital Lockpick (Droid Enhancement Upgrade - II)

Ignis has been fitted with a digital lockpick that replaces a standard finger with a set of small deployable tools that allow it to pick physical locks and slice digital locks.

Weight Reduction (Experimental) (Droid Structural Upgrade - III)

Ignis has been modified from the standard design with experimental components, allowing this Ignis to move at an unmatched rate of speed compared to other IX-series Incendiary Droid.
