Prototype: IX-series Incendiary Droid

The IX-series Incendiary Droid is a small insect-like Utility Droid originally designed to assist in mine site deforestation for ACE's Mining Consortium. Excellent climbers, these droids have a flame projector that can spit it's fuel mix up to 15 meters. These small droids are equipped with rapidly exchangeable canisters of volatile conflagrating fuel located in the "abdomen". When the fuel is depleted, the canister is ejected and a replacement can be fitted in mere seconds. They also feature an exotic alloy heat shield to protect its sensitive electronics from flame. This small shield can deflect several blaster bolt, before failing.

Splash Of Color (Droid Cosmetic)

Ixi makes a mark that is immediately apparent upon first setting eyes upon it. Looking like the victim of an explosion of color, Ixi is covered in multi-hued designs and patterns utilizing as many variations as possible. While appearing to be random upon first glance, there is a certain uniformity to the chaotic display of the artist.

Sarcastic Tendencies (Droid Personality)

Ixi has developed a quirked personality, granting it an inclination towards heavy doses of sarcasm when engaged in dialogue. As a result, Ixi comes across as having issues taking direction and developed a reputation for 'snark'.
