The TIE/D "Iron Navy Edition" Defender is a 9.2-meter long Starfighter designed as a multirole starfighter to be fast, well-armed, and capable of operating independently of the fleet via hyperspace travel on a wide range of missions. Hyperdrive capable, this vessel has exceptional maneuverability and speed, with heavy armor and shielding. It is an excellent all-around starfighter with advanced sensors and a high-capacity solar ionization reactor. Known more commonly as the "TIE Defender", it was the pinnacle of Imperial starfighter design in its time and one of the most advanced TIE designs ever built, seeing only brief deployment due to cost and other political factors. Modified by the Brotherhood for use by it's elite pilots these fighters have upgraded hulls, weapons and systems.

Aurodium Plated (Space Vehicle Cosmetic)

This ACE One has had all of its hull surfaces plated in pure aurodium, save the solar collection panels which have been colored a deep blood red. The cockpit glass has been tinted to the same blood red color. Black accents have also been painted at the joints between the hull plates. A single black "spade" icon is painted on a panel near the cockpit at the 2 o'clock position.
