The BlasTech X-8 Night Sniper "Scoundrel Edition" is a blaster pistol that is dangerous in close-quarters combat yet accurate enough to be useful in medium range. It has an upgraded computerized optical scope with night-vision technology to help acquire targets even through smoke and Dioxis. It can operate in silent mode to suppress the flash and a whisper shot suppressor, making it more difficult to detect the shooter and the weapon, and is virtually silent when firing.
