The O55-C Holdout Blaster is a sub-compact holdout blaster pistol that can easily be concealed, making it popular among those seeking to appear unarmed. A dual-stage trigger allows the user to fire regular blasterbolts if the trigger is squeezed to the first stage. The second stage releases a potent charged blast that leaves the weapon unable to fire a consecutive shot for several seconds. It has high accuracy at close-range combat, but quickly loses effectiveness at medium and long distances.
