Feedback Shunt Shields

A Feedback Shunt Shield has been installed on this vessel. These shields gather a portion of the energy from impacts and store it in a feedback loop. When the shields reach capacity, they discharge a massive amount of energy in an arc of superheated plasma, much like a solar flare. Although the range is limited, this flare can cause massive damage to nearby enemy vessels.
