The BD-3000 Luxury Droid is a protocol droid used most notably in high-end entertainment establishments and in the care of wealthy patrons. This droid is a sign of wealth and is designed to appear lavish and stylized. It is capable of providing basic serving functions.

Sarcastic Tendencies (Droid Personality)

Ruby has developed a quirked personality, granting it an inclination towards heavy doses of sarcasm when engaged in dialogue. As a result, Ruby comes across as having issues taking direction and developed a reputation for 'snark'.

Electric Defense Grid (Droid Modification)

Ruby has been fitted with an electric defense grid on its outer shell that acts as a self-defense mechanism, and when active this BD-3000 Luxury Droid will give a protective shock to anyone who makes direct contact. This shock will temporarily incapacitate the droid as well for several seconds, as it reboots its own system in reaction to the power fluctuations.

Maenaki Delavi'in has painstakingly cared for this BD-3000 Luxury Droid, and even upon close examination it appears as though Ruby was freshly off the manufacturing line. Absent of any scratches, dents or even the slightest imperfections, the only thing missing is the new droid smell.
