The WESTAR-M5 is a large blaster rifle that is very accurate at close range, with a flex sight making it accurate in medium-range situations as well. It is capable of powerful armor piercing semi-automatic, burst or automatic firing modes. It also comes equipped stock with an under-barrel grenade launcher that makes the weapon more difficult to wield, but capable of dumb firing up to six grenades one at a time that detonate on impact with a hard surface with a wide blast radius. The under-barrel launchers uses the Explosives skill.
WESTAR-M5 Blaster Rifle has seen combat, and it shows, with blaster marks scarring the body on the weapon, and minor damage in the form of scratches and dents unrepaired since they had no impact on the functionality of this WESTAR-M5 Blaster Rifle.
