The BT-1 Assassin Droid is designed as an ordinary astromech droid, possessing a cylindrical body with two main legs and a third stabilizing leg. It can have a dome-shaped head as well as cone-shaped. A variety of ordinance can be installed within the droid's compartments.
Zero has developed a predatory nature similar to those often associated with assassin droids. As a result, Zero will often approach a situation with the mind set of a hunter, and convey their findings as such. This can be disconcerting to others who are unaccustomed to Zero.
A carbonite projector has been fitted to Zero, allowing this BT-1 Assassin Droid to launch liquid cold carbonite at a target and temporarily freeze them in place or slow them down.
This BT-1 Assassin Droid has been reinforced with an advanced layer of additional armor plating, providing Zero much more durability compared to a standard BT-1 Assassin Droid.
Zero has had every external component painted black as night, with attempts to minimize the brightness of external lights and features. This allows this BT-1 Assassin Droid to more easily blend into the shadows and darkness unseen.
A blaster cannon has been mounted to the chassis of Zero, allowing it defend itself and perform ranged attacks by firing balls of superheated plasma at enemy targets.
