The TC-series Protocol Droid is a protocol droid designed with a specialized vocabulator and an encyclopedic knowledge of languages and cultural information. It possesses a standardized humanoid design, available in a wide array of colors but all possessing the same basic form with its notably restrained range of movement. It also possesses a more advanced VerboBrain than the common 3PO-series that enables it to quickly analyze new languages and translate them into more well-known ones.
TC-series Protocol Droid has been altered to appear more as a token of wealth than your typical TC-series Protocol Droid. Silver paint has been applied to the droid's exterior, allowing for accented gold plating in order to create a contrast and draw attention to the supposed credit value the droid represents.
This basic memory upgrade provides additional computing power to this TC-series Protocol Droid, allowing it to perform complex analytical operations at a marginally faster rate than before.
TC-series Protocol Droid is subjected to frequent memory wipes, and has little to nothing in the way of personality. It acts according to its basic programming in an efficient and impersonal manner.
