The TC-series Protocol Droid is a protocol droid designed with a specialized vocabulator and an encyclopedic knowledge of languages and cultural information. It possesses a standardized humanoid design, available in a wide array of colors but all possessing the same basic form with its notably restrained range of movement. It also possesses a more advanced VerboBrain than the common 3PO-series that enables it to quickly analyze new languages and translate them into more well-known ones.

Light-Alloy Frame (Droid Modification)

TC-U5 "Theseus" has been modified from standard design parameters to be fitted with a lighter frame. As a result, when compared side by side with the standard TC-series Protocol Droid, TC-U5 "Theseus" is found to be less durable while able to move at an increased rate.

Servant Droid (Droid Personality)

TC-U5 "Theseus" has been programmed to serve Syrg Parylos without question. Acting much like a butler, TC-U5 "Theseus" will act for the most part in silence, and will adhere to the literal definition of its instructions to the best of its abilities.

Property of the Cantor Household (Droid Cosmetic)

TC-U5 "Theseus" has been decorated to appear as a member of Syrg Parylos's Household. Taking elements from the Cantor family crest, TC-U5 "Theseus" has been painted a deep charcoal grey over its front and back, with the sides being painted forest green. A smaller version of the Cantor family crest has been painted on its upper torso, and its designation is is black stencil upon its back.
