The ID9 Seeker Droid is a model of probe droid consisting of a half-hemisphere dome with a red photoreceptor. It is equipped with four tentacle-like limbs with pincer hands, electro-shock prods, and a blaster. Additionally, they were capable of both hovering and crawling, as well as imitating the sounds of other droid models.
ID9 Seeker Droid has had additional memory installed that increases its computing power. This allows it to perform complex analytical operations at a marginally faster rate, but limits the ability to further customize the ID9 Seeker Droid in any other way.
ID9 Seeker Droid has developed a personality focused around the superiority of droids. As a result, ID9 Seeker Droid will often question any orders it receives and will not hesitate to present its own alternatives. While still capable of following orders as directed, ID9 Seeker Droid will not comply without at least a partial debate.
