The BD-3000 Luxury Droid is a protocol droid used most notably in high-end entertainment establishments and in the care of wealthy patrons. This droid is a sign of wealth and is designed to appear lavish and stylized. It is capable of providing basic serving functions.
Jarvis has received specialized programming and upgrades around the operation of its motivators and actuators, that allow for much smoother and subtle movements than a standard BD-3000 Luxury Droid. This additional programming slightly reduces the reflex time and movement speeds of the droid.
Jarvis has developed a personality around the concept of a caretaker. It has assumed the needs of Alexander DelGotto to be its prime directive, even such tasks that have not been requested of it. This results in Jarvis often flitting about in an attempt to meet any possible task before it is necessary, including menial tasks.
Alexander DelGotto has painstakingly cared for this BD-3000 Luxury Droid, and even upon close examination it appears as though Jarvis was freshly off the manufacturing line. Absent of any scratches, dents or even the slightest imperfections, the only thing missing is the new droid smell.
