Twenty Two has had its programs re-written and mechanical systems hard-wired for combat operations. This augmentation gives this HK-model Gladiator Droid a significant increase in combat efficiency in eliminating targets on behalf of Macron Goura Sadow, but at the expense of it being usable for much else except for combat.

Twenty Two has developed a quirked personality, granting it an inclination towards heavy doses of sarcasm when engaged in dialogue. As a result, Twenty Two comes across as having issues taking direction and developed a reputation for 'snark'.

Twenty Two has had most of the factory installed safety limitations on operation removed, both in the hardware and software, allowing this HK-model Gladiator Droid to perform acts at the limits of its physical capabilities

Twenty Two has been modified with an experimental shield generator inside its chassis, allowing this HK-model Gladiator Droid to absorb 3-5 direct hits from a blaster or bladed weapon before taking damage. This shield is not lightsaber resistant.

This HK-model Gladiator Droid has been upgraded with an advanced electrical defense grid that allows Twenty Two to operate at a reduced capacity when hit with ionized electricity, and prevents any permanent damage or loss of functionality.
