The Imperial TIE Flight Suit is a cheap and utilitarian environmentally sealed suit manufactured in mass quantities for the Empire. It consists of an enclosed helmet, chestplate, a life-support system, thermal gloves and a black coverall.
When Ken saw the rampant corruption and power hunger in the Empire after the Battle of Endor, he left to join the New Republic. As a show of that change, he removed the Imperial Cogs from his flight suit replacing them with Alliance Starbirds. Now having left the New Republic because of the disarmament treaty, he has elected to replace the Starbirds on his flight suit with the seal of Odan-Urr.
