Prototype: KX-series Security Droid
The KX-series Security droid, also known as an enforcer droid, is a security droid designed for use by the Galactic Empire. It comes fitted with a comm package, recharge port and computer interface arm that allows them to connect to communication frequencies in respective areas they were assigned across the galaxy. It has a tall and versatile humanoid bipedal design that gives it great versatility and provides the ability to operate a multitude of vehicles or assist in a wide range of tasks designed for humanoids.
KX-series Security Droid has had most of the factory installed safety limitations on operation removed, both in the hardware and software, allowing this KX-series Security Droid to perform acts at the limits of its physical capabilities. This can make the droid stronger and more resiliant than a standard KX-series Security Droid, but at great risk to the droid itself or others.
KX-series Security Droid has developed a predatory nature similar to those often associated with assassin droids. As a result, KX-series Security Droid will often approach a situation with the mind set of a hunter, and convey their findings as such. This can be disconcerting to others who are unaccustomed to KX-series Security Droid.
KX-series Security Droid could be said to have seen better days. Looking more like the result of a scavenging run than a fully functioning KX-series Security Droid, its plating is missing in several key locations which leaves its internal circuitry exposed. Wiring flows out of the main chassis before snaking its way back under the next panel along its path. Servos and non-critical systems are laid bare for all to see, but KX-series Security Droid retains its functionality despite this.
KX-series Security Droid has had all of its weapons systems replaced with incendiary flame thrower weapons, allowing it to inflict a great deal of damage in a broad area with use of flames.
