The R3-series Astromech Droid is a successor to the popular line of R2 astromech droids with faster processing abilities designed to fit in the droid socket of any starfighter. It is commonly designed with a domed or tapered code head, with a cylindrical core in addition to a base, retractable tread leg and two main legs. It has multiple appendages and attachments within its compartments, such as shock prods, welding torches, and is equipped with a holoprojector and a periscope that has a probe function which is usable in space.
Nemo has developed his own unique personality because of his never being fully memory wiped. He has the memories of many battles in the clone wars as well as his time on the run from the empire. He does not understand why people fight each other and will try to persuade people out of conflict, although they usually cannot understand him. He makes friends of other droids quickly if they will have him. He is incredibly loyal to Eliwufe'en'omfo (Core Name: Eeno) and will always follow his orders. Others will have to convince him the order is necessary and he will claim he has a non-violence protocol to anyone but Eliwufe'en'omfo (Core Name: Eeno).
Nemo is colored in the black, dark blue and gold of the 449th Clone Battalion. His domed head and legs are a dark blue with gold trimming while his body is black with gold trimming. The different component doors are colored in gold with a dark blue stripe or symbol.
