Dirk

Dirk has had its sensor suites upgraded to significantly increase their range and sensitivity, allowing this DRK-1 Probe Droid to collect and record a wide range of data during scouting operations. These sensors are far more sensitive to jamming interferance and are more prone to damage.

Like any of Zig's mechanical creations, Dirk has developed his own micro-personality despite lacking the ability to vocalize speech or emote. He has, however, learned to "blink" his optical sensor when he questions a request or is puzzled. He can also change the tone of his beep from high to low: high being excitement, and low being unimpressed. While loyal to his programmer, Dirk seems to indicate that could he expand beyond his core functions, he might adapt visions of grandeur and seek to build himself into some kind of potent weapon instead of "just" a probe droid. That would show the organics. One day, perhaps, but for now he's just a floating probe.
