The Bilari Electro-chain Whip is a unique modular weapon that appears to be a conventional two-handed sword in its resting state (using the Bladed Weapons skill). When activated, however, the weapon shifts into an articulated configuration that allows the metallic plating to bend and wrap like an electro-whip (Miscellaneous Weapons). While shielded from electrical surges, the hilt is made of standard duralloy and is not resistant to a lightsaber's edge.

Electro-plasma Filament

Parallel to the cutting edge of the weapon is an electro-plasma filament that creates an energized blade capable of parrying a lightsaber. The weapon draws its power from an integrated power-cell at the weapons base, increasing the cutting-edge's lethality.

Arakyd 900 Gene-Lock + Trapped Handle (Whip Hilt Upgrade - III)

The handle on this Bilari Electro-chain Whip has been modified with a cell recognizer and trapped handle. When an unauthorized user grabs Bilari Electro-chain Whip, several spikes erupt from the hilt and stab the holder's hand.

Dark Whip (Whip Cosmetic)

Bilari Electro-chain Whip has a matte black handle with no luster at all, with the entire length of cord in a deep black color, making this Bilari Electro-chain Whip harder to see in the darkness.

Shadowsheath (Whip Lash Enhancement - II)

Bilari Electro-chain Whip has had its lash modified so that it can be typically stored inside a specialized accompanying sheath that conceals the majority of this Bilari Electro-chain Whip using optical camouflage technology.
